Really glad to hear you've recovered from your back injury. I've had back problems, mostly in the distant past and they're devastating. Congrats on your long journey to recovery -- you've been "through the mill," that's for sure. Are you able to walk, minus a cane or walker, yet? Hang in there, pal -- I know you're glad to be on your own again. I've had my share of hospital stays. It's no picnic, especially for such a long stay. Take good care of that back!

P.S. -- May the New Year be your best one yet!
I am walking with a Rollatore which is like walker on Wheels. Also walker without wheels and cane I still be working on.

So more rehab is needed.

In time I will better.

Go Boys!

Good to hear. I've been on rehab before for a shoulder surgery that cured me from my right arm merely hanging there and nothing more. Be certain to stick faithfully to your rehab regimen and you won't be sorry you did. It always involves lots of pain to be tolerated but it's well worth the time, effort and the pain. Many years ago, I had a severed Achilles tendon in my right leg that required surgery, 17 weeks in a cast, a month in a walking boot and many long weeks of rehab. Here's wishing you the best of luck with your recovery.

Mr Flop..

I call you that as I like people to call me by my first name..

then you are as Jimmy Hendrix would say..

"Are you uhh..experienced?"

With the pain and the drugs thing.

I was taking 3 a day then backed up becuz could not have a bowel movement for a week. The stomach pain beat out the back pain.

So the nurse came in and said only one a day from then on.

I wanted to kill her.

Yikes -- can't say as I blame you, Mr. Ball . . . bowel distress is nothing to sneeze at, after all. Seems like they would have warned you in advance of the possible repercussions! I feel your pain -- lotsa crazy things happen when you're involved with hospitals and their personnel. I've had experiences that I wouldn't have believed went on in a hospital or rehab environment. Humans are just too prone to being human. I've got some stories that would blow your mind about some of the experiences I've had in medical facilities. Anyhoo, hang in there m'friend. ;)

@Redball Express ! Glad you are recovery and glad this forum could help. There are some good peeps on this board for sure!

Also @daboyzruleperiod , thank you for the nightmares!

It's a warm summer night. SlammedZero is out on the town. He enters a lively looking bar. As he steps into the room, he notices that there is a beautifully shaped woman at the bar. Her back is to him but he cannot help but be drawn to the way her dress fits her curves. The music is right. The mood is right. Slammed walks confidentially across the room. He steps in closer and he can smell the beautiful perfume wavering off her shapely body. The light glistens off her hair. Slammed leans in closely and says "Eres tan hermosa" into her ear. The music and the crowd fade into the background as she turns towards him. He looks up, ready to finally come face to face with this gorgeous being. The light shines brightly on her and her face comes into focus. Slammed then sees.......................

As some of you guys know..

for the last 17 months I have been posting from a rehab hospital recovering from 4 surgeries on my back after an accidental fall.

It was painful and nerve wracking having to learn to walk again and I was finally released to go home on Dec 17.

But I want to thank everybody at the Forum. You guys had as much as my doctors did helping my recovery.

Whether you knew it or not..you helped my emotional recovery keeping me connected to you guys and our team's struggles.

So I have no idea how this team ends the season but I now see how it finishes for me. I get my life back. And thankful you are well.

Have a great New Year.

Maybe the Giants and Washinton cough a hairball and we make the playoffs.

:omg:
So happy to hear you're improving!

This forum got me through cancer twice and a stroke, but I'm afraid my time is up here. I can't deal with the Hate here anymore. Ignore list gets longer everyday sadly. There's enough hate in the country now. I come here for an escape. When there's hate here too, why bother anymore.
