- First two days were a home run. Probably the best top 90 we have had in a long time. We got three guys that could have been 1st rounders. Two at money 5 positions. Im not high on Bookers value at 12, however the opposite side of the coin is that he could help make the interior OL dominant

- Jaydon Blue is alot like drafting Pollard in 2019. Stuck behind guys, so you dont get to see him with high usage. Very similar skill set too. Ball security really needs to get fixed. That could keep him off the field

- I think throwing an annual at OL late is a good way to maintain quality depth, but I would have gone Mellott there in the 6th. I think there is alot of potential with him moving to WR

- Toia is a guy I liked throughout the draft process. High floor guy who should stick in camp. In a way he might correct the Ridgeway mistake from a few years ago. Ridgeway has been a solid role player and I think thats what you get with Toia. I dont think Toia has the range to be a more than that now though. If Smith doesnt improve enough to make it past his rookie deal, I could see Toia having an Antwaun Woods like roll in a couple years

- Mafah is nice value as a hoss type back. Pretty much going to stay between the tackles. Could be a dirty yards type runner. I think his ceiling is kind of a poor mans Damien Harris. I still would rather have taken Rocket. I think Rocket has real feature back upside

There is lots to like about this draft. We might have the best pass rush in the league once all our players (Sam/Overshown) come back from injury. A secondary of Bland, Diggs, Revel, Elam, and Carson is probably a pipe dream because of the injuries but that appears to be the best secondary room we have had in recent history. Finally the offensive line, especially up the middle is the strongest position on the team. Power and depth. We will be playing Marty ball.

The problem is realistically this defense is going to give up a ton of points just like last year and it's tough to play Marty ball from behind.

I don't think Diggs is going to be around long. Supposedly they arent happy with how he is rehabbing and even considered cutting. I wouldn't be suprised if they move him around the deadline if they can

My biggest issue is that they did very little this entire offseason to help their biggest weakness to helping their run defense. Adding a late NT in a loaded class doesn’t move the needle
I would also add that they needed a TRUE thumper at linebacker to go with a proven Dawg at DT.....unless these guys provide that they will continue to get the ball rushed down they throats

Linebacker/DT are all about helping their run defense.

Agree, a lot to like, but they failed to address two huge areas of need in run defense and lack of another receiver opposite Lamb.

It is amazing how this team loves the OL in the first found but then constantly ignores the DL.

We can't develop mid- and later-round picks on the OL, but at DT that's all we try to do.
They don't ignore DL, just a run NT.

I have a slightly different take on the draft which many people here will not like

In the end, what is the objective of the draft? Acquire talent to make the team better

So, yes, draft is about talent acquisition but there is a reason teams have tiers, because need’ has to factor in somewhat

In isolation, i think we had a very very good draft. The players in the top rounds have the potential to be really really good. My problems are below

Booker: very good player, not worth #12. Wr dont have a LT or a RT and we are loading up on OGs. Not going to “bully” anybody if our LT and RT are weak links. The only way this pick makes any sense is if we plan to move Smith to LT. Otherwise it would have been way better to move down to 25 and take Simmons

EZ: very very good player and talent. Great for a team that has a real DE opposite him. If EZ and Parsons are the 2 DEs on the field with Mazi and Osa on 2nd or 3rd and 5-7, as the opposing OC, im running at them everyday if im a good run team like Pilly or GB or Detroit or SF. So, EZ can spell Parsons but at least this year and probably next few years he and Micah will be on the field together very little unless Micah lines up at LB

Revel: great pick if he comes back healthy

Blue: lot of potential but not a 3 down RB. If hes on the field, the defense knows its a pass play most likely. If you run him a lot you will injure him or wear him down

More dart throwing at 1T DT

No #2 WR
No real 1T DT
No true RB

Good players? Yes

This is the kind if draft that can be great for a team that is active in FA
Great draft for this team? Not really

We drafted 7 defensive lineman in the top 90 since 2021
The problem is they are small guys and when they draft them, e.g., eagles drafted 3 studs in the FIRST round including Carter who probably should be the favorite for DPOY. And that's just since 2022. The added benefit is the later round guys can be solid role players around the really productive guys. We have just a bunch of solid to underachieving guys

Cowboys seem intent on seeing of Mazi progresses. I mean I get, that was a big investment in a 1T. They seemed to have little interest in big DT's this cycle. They seemed to be interested in another 3T. I wonder if the debate was Booker V. Nolen? Personally I would have taken Nolen
