We officially have a player in Sterling Moore. It can no longer be considered fluke play. He could very well be our best corner right now -- he's certainly our second best.

Both him and Scandrick are playing tough right now. Not sure either have great hands but they are breaking up passes left and right.

Moore and Scandrick made a big difference with our defense. Both players made some very close INTs and blanketed their coverages. This team also has a pass rush. But give Brees credit in getting to Graham quickly. The big play wasn't there and thats because of Moore and Scandrick. They did have a few big plays but that was to Carr's side of the ball.

Gotta figure teams will start blitzing the run on the way to the QB.........the only diff will be off the tackles vrs prior year up the middle........Linehan going to have to work on hot routes with guys room can see --and trust
****
Murray will pop some big ones that way, but teams are not going to just sit back and let our OLine dictate LOS to them.......might as well take chances

The TD's for the Saints came after Carter went out. He's a monster and Durants always around the ball as well McClain is of course a beast.

If they all stayed healthy we might have the best 4-3 LB unit in the league.

Loved the push from Crawford up front and Moore going man to man with Graham.

Wilcox needs a huge boost in football IQ. What was he doing trying to fight through 5 Saints returning the fumble?

Lee, McClain and Carter. I want to see that, but I have a suspicion it would not happen for any length of time. *sigh*

Oscan is number 1.
Sterling 2.

Sterling seems that he shares many of the qualities that make Scandrick pretty good.

A note from this game...We are finally seeing what our team can do when the main pieces are relatively healthy and our offensive runs a balanced gameplan. That being said, I thought the defense played very well overall tonight, but we do need to make defense a priority in the draft and possibly find Doug Free's replacement even thought I dont think he's as bad as some people make him out to be.

Do not see the problem with Free .....

He is a good solid RT

Sometimes he gets overpowered but usually he is solid.

Sterling reminds me of Ronde Barber.

Funny that you mentioned Barber. With Claiborne hurt, we get to see a little of Patmon now, who Kiffin said reminded him of Ronde Barber.

it looked like on one sack, free left the inside guy, to go to the outside guy......but murray already had the outside guy, so that left the inside guy to get a clean sack on Romo.

free struggles in pass protection, but he is a beast in the run game.

As far as beating Houston.......double team Watt all game, and we should find some success.
