Over the next few months leading up to the draft, I'm gonna do several simulator run mocks. I'm going to use PFN, thedraftnetwork and some others.

I'll randomly post them here, for your viewing pleasure or disdain, but mainly so I can see how things change over that time period.

1/5/21 First simulated mock was w/ PFN, no comp picks yet, accepted a trade down w/ NE for 15 & 46

15 Surtain CB
44 Barmore DT
46 Letherwood OT
75 Nasirildeen S
105 McGrove LB
167 Washington S
200 Anderson OG

I like it, but...I think as the draft process goes along Barmore is going to sneak into the first round and if you mean McGrone the LB out of Michigan Dallas will be lucky if he's still on the board in the 2nd when they pick. It's a weak defensive draft and if you want corners or linebackers you'd better get it done early.

Ha - Bama guys with the first 3 picks.

I'd be good with this I think. Do you mean McGrone at 105?

3 Bama boys! haha yeah I didn't even realize that at the time.
And yes typo for McGrone

Browning would be great. Being a buckeyes fan, I seen all of his games. He has a motor, keeps on going. Some bias on my part, but he is pretty dang good.

Will appreciate all of them, I love seeing mock drafts.
As it gets me familiar with players I may have overlooked, never heard of, didn't thing much about.
Gives me new players to research also if I do so.
I agree with this. Thanks for doing them.

Well, Parsons and Browning would be a pretty good draft haul and can shore up the LB position for years.
Plus Sean Lee (Penn State) to coach them both. :D

I don't hate Penn State, always kind of liked them even after they became part of the Big 10, now that team from up North...that is different. :muttley:

This is very realistic except Browning, who may become a 2nd rd pick. Homerun class!

More i watch Letherwood, he reminds me of Big Flozel the hotel Adams. I'd like to get him if we moved back to a more power run scheme.

man if we got LaBryan Ray at 219 that would be so awesome, that dude reminds me of a bigger John Randle. put him at 5T and let him rip on someone.

This team routinely gets knocked for locking in to drafting for need instead of BPA (Taco!) but it seems already on all the drafts that corner is the pick

I hear ya and agree that we shouldn't "reach" for a need. However, this year we need help on defense so much than help on offense, that I don't think we will have much of a choice other than CB worthy of the #10 pick.
Maybe we get the chance to take Parsons (I doubt it) or decide if Rousseau could be that dominate a pass rusher that they can not pass on him. Other than that, CB will have the biggest need vs. most value to take at 10.

I have been using this one a lot lately. They are a little more realistic where they rate players and trades. By the way I like this draft.
