1. OL is becoming massive collection of nastiness again. 265 rushing yards - most since 2011.
2. I still have major concerns about run defense. Felt worse than final numbers show.
3. Zeke is Zeke again. Vision, burst & confidence are back.
4. Jaylon Smith - did what I thought he does best and that's blitz QB. Can see his burst on QB sack. Still tries to arm tackle RBs and that just might be who he is. Still I saw progress.
5. San Fran doesn't have horrible OL so the 5 sacks against them are encouraging.
6. Terrence Williams is due for big game and they will need it soon with that schedule.

I still think this team might need to trade for 1-tech DT to be a playoff team. Brutal stretch of schedule coming up.

Zeke is a stud

Dak is a stud

Our Dline with the exception of Taco is pretty darn good rushing the QB. Irving is unblockable at times.

I also noticed that Woods got a lot more playing time in the secondary early on and looked pretty good.

And finally, I think Jeff Heath is a better kicker than Safety!

It's almost like our offense struggles some when we play really good defenses, plays very well against ordinary defenses, and plays insanely great against bad defenses.
And if I didn't know better, I'd think the defense plays better for some reason when Lee and Hitchens are in there and the opposing offense isn't very good.

Zeke was a different player tonight. On the long reception he was able to run away from the defense and he was able to reach the edge on several runs. He hasn't been able to do that. I also think Cooper is solidifying the OL.

The 49ers have been blown out twice (23-3 to Carolina and 40-10 by Dallas today). Their other five losses have come by either two points or three points.

So how bad are they? I refuse to belittle this victory. I see it as the Cowboys venting some frustration in a disappointing season thus far; and perhaps turning it around. San Fran was the team that got in the way of that today.

I think he showed up early in the season in what appeared (to me at least) out of shape. I think he has played his way back into game shape. Barring injury he may become a little bit more explosive as the year wears on.
