My takeaway so far after first two series of all or nothing

My takeaway.

Garrett is a more of a clown than I thought.
Everyone is real comfortable.
Jerry and family care more about selling the Brand than winning a SB.
Dez is dumber than I thought.
Dak is a real leader.
The WR crew was a bunch of losers.
Stephen Jones might actually be worse than Jerry. He thinks he is a real football guy.

8-8, 8-8, 8-8.....last year had we not beaten 3rd stringers 8-8. Garett is horrid. Playoff wins? How many? Maybe he cant coach.

you know, I find it funny that people of the group think mentality always go to 8-8 his first 3 years, without even stopping to consider the team. All those teams were void of talent all over the field. Bad Oline, No running game, bad D.. they had Romo and Dez. That was about it. And yet they still managed to win 8 games. I would argue that the 2011 and 2012 teams didn't have any business winning more than 5 games and that the 8 wins is a testament to Garrett and his coaching. 2013 team was just killed with injuries.. like 19 DL out with injuries.. hard to recover from that but they still managed to get to the final game of the year with a change to go to the playoffs, pretty good coaching job there. 2014 - 12 wins.. finally the team building is showing success. A healthy Romo and good running game with a revamp OL and if not for a RB fumble, would have played in the NFC title game. 2015 was bad,, this is the only year I have been disappointed with Garrett as a coach. 2016 - 13 wins, rookie QB, good coaching job. 2017 - 9-7, expected more this year but with a QB that fell apart, suspensions, injuries, I would say He gets a C for 2017.

So you can rant and rave about this and that, it's all you can do. But anyone that understands the game of football knows this team is a lot better today that it was when Garrett took it over. The cap is better, the drafts are better, the FA are better, the OL is one of if not the best in the NFL. The D is finally looking up. Now if we can just find a half way decent QB, this team can do things. So be miserable, fueled by hate for a guy that is not going any where because he is a top 10 coach in the NFL, I will just sit back and watch the Boys win #6 and laugh.

Most of those teams had the chance to make the playoffs in a or die game the last game of the year and they blew it.

And the ONLY reason these teams were even close to 8-8 were because they had a stud like Romo saving Garretts job. Those team had plenty of talent. Romo, Dez, Witten, Ware, ect....ect......

The coaching staff has been turned over twice, all the players now. Nothing really changes. Garrett even got lucky and has ANOTHER franchise QB dumped into his lap. Blew it last year because he didn't taylor the offense to suit Dak. Or didn't prepare for the possible suspension of Zeke. Or thought Green could take over for Smith with no problems. Or thought Dez and the horror show at WR was fine.

It goes on and on.

LOL..........Top 10 coach? Now that is funny. And yah, I will definitely be miserable into that loser is no longer coaching here.

I'm not like you. I simply cannot stand losing.

And the best part about your entire rant is that you love Garrett, yet Dak isn't good enough for you. LOL

Sit back and watch the boys win #6? Hey bud, I wish I was like you. Every year is a SB run. LOL

I admire you for that. Wish I could be like that. Unfortunately I don't see what you see. Enjoy!!!

If you think those teams were talented, I don't know what to tell you. Those individual players were very talented but as a team, not so much. But I am starting to see why you think Dak is all talented if you think the likes of Phil Costa, Bernadeau, Josh Brent, Mike Jenkins, Felix Jones, Kevin Ogletree, Phillip Tanner, etc then yea, Dak is all world compared to those types of players, which you think were talented so I can see why you think Dak is very talented.

1. Garrett knows his football but he's not a leader. First meeting with all the coaches and the first time he addresses them nobody is looking at him. If it was me I would say " listen everyone, all eyes on me! If you guys don't give me your attention you can only hear me, I need you listen and pay attention to me!". That and I wouldn't allow jerry and son in the coaches meetings. That right there is embarrassing. Same goes for when he addresses his team especially for the first time.
2. Zeke is annoying and I hope he can straighten himself out for this upcoming season and get his head on right and be inshape. Can't stand seeing him always playing with his facial hair and the hair on his head. It's annoying. Even did it the whole time at Wittens retirement yesterday.
3. Dez is dumb and that's ok. I would have kept dez because he is a baller. I think the distractions and stupidity are minimal and I think his heart and spirit mean more to the team but it is what it is.
4. If the female joneses ran this team we would have 7 titles and counting

Garrett is the biggest problem with this team!!!

Not true.
How is that not true? You think Parcells or Belichek wouldn't have helped a struggling LT in Green against Atlanta? You could bet your *** after the 2nd sack that they would have put an end to it. Terrible in game coach, big situation coach and end of game coach. Terrible.

I don't know. I don't watch enough of their games to tell you what they would or wouldn't do. But Brady got sacked a lot to start the year off and even got sacked what, 5 times in the SB (against ATL) and still won it. I also remember Troy being sacked 11 times against the Eagles in 91 or 92, 4-5 by the same DE,, wonder if Johnson sucked too?? Players have bad games.. Coaches have bad games, Teams have bad games.. it's silly to base an argument over 1 game, either for or against whatever your trying to say.

When I see a thread about All or Nothing, my first thought is how is it that people
haven't watched all 8 episodes? Amazon Prime, people. Get with the times.
Stay up late and binge watch or shut your trap until you're caught up with the
rest of us... lol

No matter what you think of Jason Garrett, his final meeting with the coaches was impressive.
Basically, he said it my way or the highway. It looked like he was holding back a bit but he did
draw the line in the sand.
