you know, I find it funny that people of the group think mentality always go to 8-8 his first 3 years, without even stopping to consider the team. All those teams were void of talent all over the field. Bad Oline, No running game, bad D.. they had Romo and Dez. That was about it. And yet they still managed to win 8 games. I would argue that the 2011 and 2012 teams didn't have any business winning more than 5 games and that the 8 wins is a testament to Garrett and his coaching. 2013 team was just killed with injuries.. like 19 DL out with injuries.. hard to recover from that but they still managed to get to the final game of the year with a change to go to the playoffs, pretty good coaching job there. 2014 - 12 wins.. finally the team building is showing success. A healthy Romo and good running game with a revamp OL and if not for a RB fumble, would have played in the NFC title game. 2015 was bad,, this is the only year I have been disappointed with Garrett as a coach. 2016 - 13 wins, rookie QB, good coaching job. 2017 - 9-7, expected more this year but with a QB that fell apart, suspensions, injuries, I would say He gets a C for 2017.
So you can rant and rave about this and that, it's all you can do. But anyone that understands the game of football knows this team is a lot better today that it was when Garrett took it over. The cap is better, the drafts are better, the FA are better, the OL is one of if not the best in the NFL. The D is finally looking up. Now if we can just find a half way decent QB, this team can do things. So be miserable, fueled by hate for a guy that is not going any where because he is a top 10 coach in the NFL, I will just sit back and watch the Boys win #6 and laugh.
