Dallas has a big liability on defense and its not the S' or the DL or even a banged up LB core. Its Anthony Brown. All yr when a team needs to convert on 3rd down almost all of the time its converted on Anthony Brown. If you go and rewatch the games, a big portion of TDs are on Anthony Brown. This guy is really bad. You dont even have to go rewatch the other 4 games just rewatch yesterdays game and time after time on 3rd down watch where Rodgers goes with the ball. How this guy is still on the team i have no idea.
Think we are seeing the end of Witten, or maybe we have already seen the end and this is the shell. IMO they should bring Gathers off IR he he is able to be and let him have a go. Witten doesnt seem to be able to get open as he's done for yrs. So much of Dallas' offense relies on having that TE able to get them 5 yrs when nothing else is open.
Think Dallas needs to get Tyron right if the loses keep coming. Once Green is ready and if the team is still in a slump IR Smith and get him surgery to get that back right so he can come back in 2018 ready to go.
Dallas really needs to get better at WR. Seems the best WR is Butler. He's basically the only one that can create for himself, and the only one Dak trusts when he's in trouble. Dez reminds me so much of Randy Moss in the back end of his career. He could beat you deep when it was there, but the rest of the time he was average. TW i what he is, a guy who blocks very well and will get some something here and there. Beasley is in the wrong offense to give you much. If he was in NE he would lead the NFL in rec and yards.
Elliot seemed to turn it up when he saw himself being outplayed bigtime by a rookie. Makes you wonder if he's only motivated by the fame. He gave it his all but to me it took Jones upstaging him for GB to bring that fire out in Elliot. Thats a huge red flag if you ask me.
Sean Lee hides so much of this teams weaknesses. Without him Jaylons are being exposed in the run game. Smith just doesnt have the stability in his leg yet to be able to plant firm and change direction. Which is why we see so many missed tackles as he's reaching in the opposite direction instead of planting and driving back for the hit. With Lee this team wins these past 2 games.
Jourdan Lewis is going to be a very good CB for this team. Yes he got beat for the game winner but he's there. He's going to make that INT later this yr.
Marinelli needs to get off his DL rep counts and stick with whats working. They need rest fine but dont insert an entire different DL when the one has the QB running for his life.
I think its time for Jerry or Stephen to come to terms that this teams needs new Coaches. This team is being out coached. The adjustments being made against the Cowboys work because these Coaches still to whats being done in the first 3 mins of the game.
They've lost 2 games late in the 4th. Its not like the team is stinking it up. Things couldve easily been reversed.
I been reading alot of this team blew it by scoring too fast. No the defense blew it by not being able to make the stop. The offense is doing its job by getting the team in the lead. Both sides have to get the job done. The offense did, the defense didnt. All this talk about the team shouldnt have scored that fast is an excuse fans are using to bash the coaching staff or Dak.
