This embarrassing football is on the coaches. You just lose probably the one guy who transforms your offense into something special for 6 weeks, what do you do? Nothing, you keep running the same plays that are predicated and centered around a guy who can take it to the house on any play from anywhere on the field.

Our untransformative RBs (yes, who are JAGs) averaged 4.3 ypg against a front keying on them. Zeke only did better than that in 2 of his 8 games this year.

They already lost me for the year. I’m not watching anymore games. Hopefully Garrett is fired so I can enjoy the offseason/draft process. And Dak better do everything he can in the offseason to fix his issues.

Think about his for a second.

Penalties every time we made a positive big play on offense - coaching
Lose the 2nd half every game - coaching
same old plays from the 90's - coaching
Same defense that allow guys wide open - coaching

Isn't that JG's entire ideology though? Run a set number of plays well and out execute your opponents.

That is why we don't see much in the way of adjustments in my opinion, he is relying on the players executing better more than trying to scheme or put in new wrinkles.

The only real deviation that I saw this week was the reverse off the triple option with Beasley in the back field, which gained 3 yards.

Nothing, you keep running the same plays that are predicated and centered around a guy who can take it to the house on any play from anywhere on the field. Only theres 2 things wrong with that, he isnt on the field, and the opposing team knows he isnt on the field. So they bring everybody up closer to the LOS because they know your offense doesnt pass down the field much even with said playamker. What happens? The flats are covered with zone(Beasley INT). And the middle is one big mess because theres nothing open. You can run on teams because your OL is really good, but the RB doesnt have the ability of said playmaker so they will let him get his 5-6 yrds. But when that 3rd and 5 come you arent going to make that first because they know u dont have that special player and your offense is predictable. And its predictable even with said playmaker but he commands that respect to keep the defense honest. Now they can cheat in coverage, and they can bring that extra man up against the run.

Thats your problem with the team right now. These coaches havent changed anything. Theyre running the same plays that work with the defense playing honest, but dont work because the defense can cheat. And as im typing this Garrett is on NFLN talking about they have lost players in the past and they just had to plug in guys to keep moving forward. This is the mind frame of these coaches. Knowing that they just lost a once in the generation type talent and say something stupid like they just need to plug in the next guy.

Now the game and those who are talking about Dak was exposed. Aikman was exposed when Emmitt held out 2 games and Jerry went and signed Emmitt quick. Romo was exposed when they lost Murray.

If you bothered to watch the game you will see Chargers played zone exclusively. They dared Dallas to run and they didnt. Dak had very little time to throw. The coaches need to open up the playbook and allow this offense to open up. Elliot isnt going to run on the field, and the sooner they deal with that the sooner they might be able to come up with a way to move the ball with a different philosophy.

I really dont even want to get into anything else because what these coaches are doing right now is disgusting.

Nice well thought out summary and so true. Garrett refuses to get creative....

I dont mind a ride or die with ZEKE but lee is another story. The man is more brittle then the xmas balls i will be unwrapping tomorrow. I love LEE but what good is a player if he cant stay on the field for any length of time.

I do mind it sort of. I think a good system allows for the loss of a player even as cataclysmic as those two. The schemes this team has are bad and the coaching is not good enough to do anything amazing otherwise. Everything has to be perfect or it sinks like a ship hit by Japanese torpedoes....

The talent as usual was over rated by the fan base and the FO. Yes there needs to be a house cleaning from the FO down through the coaching staff but those in the know say its unlikely. As for Dak he is good enough to win with if a lot of things go right but not good enough to carry a team. Is what it is. If the team gets a shot at Darnold or Rosen they need to take him without thinking twice.

Well it is pretty clear all our eggs are in one basket on each side of the ball (Zeke and Sean Lee). We won't win another game without one or the other back, that much is certainly obvious now....
I think this is my biggest concern and must be addressed

Love your strong points.. That's what's up.
If only the Dak haters can understand this..

Adjustments won't be made. They are not capable of this because I've been told on several times on this forum that we run an ancient offence. It supposedly needs elite level talent at certain positions to function. No talent, no party.

Identifying a problem and thinking that firing the coaches is the solution isn't fixing the problem.
If any of us think that the coaches cant see this situation then we're delusional.
Of course they see the problem. There are so many weaknesses in our player personal
were just not getting around to the complete team very fast.
