Yep, Cowboys should have signed a quality starting guard in FA. Why didnt they?

That's the part that I wish they would have done. There was quality depth, and some were salary cap-released players that wouldn't impact the comp pick count. The good news is there's a guard from Denver who's a FA, Riser I think is his name, who is a solid option still available. Imo, they should sign him after the draft. He's not steak, but he'd make a quality hamburger, if you catch my drift.

He's got good size, and he was not the problem with Denver's offense last year. I'd like to see us get him after the draft. He'd be essentially a Salisbury steak. very good, but not going to blow people's minds. Still, I think he's a player that can at least fill the void for a few years and be a depth option that can help us.
