My Thoughts

Romo is a great QB, don't get me wrong. We are lucky to have him. Much like I am lucky to have my wife, but she isn't perfect and neither am I. What bothers me most about Romo is that he is habitually late out of the huddle and I don't know why. Maybe Linehan is giving out the play late, but rarely do we ever seem to snap the ball with more than 5 seconds on the clock and it seems that we are usually getting if off with 1-2 seconds left. This does give the D some advantage off the snap on plays where the clock is about at zero when it is snapped. The other thing is Romo's vision, especially when rattled, but I am now seeing that he is trying not to throw an INT and give the ball back. He is trying NOT to be Brett Favre on those stupid throws he used to make. He does need to chuck the ball away, though, when possible rather than take the sack. Those 10-15 yard losses hurt.

no Romo has even said plenty of times that Linehan gets the play to him very early. He just seems to take too long in setting up adjustments.

not in all but in some that people just have no other reason then to do that in the chatroom. Which ill remind you that you even said something about it.
I spoke on it and it died down somewhat. But I've been in almost every game chat. So yes, it's the same people every chat. And if I was in the gamethread, it would be the same folks there. I don't see a need to call out fans for what they do in the game threads and chat. It simply takes away from what is an otherwise solid post, IMO.

I dont call anybody out i just speak in general that thats what ticks me off. I could call out names but i dont find the need to. Its just my thoughts on whats happening from week to week. There have been a few weeks where its really bad and yesterday was as bad as i have seen it. Worse then that philly game. I understand my thoughts arent going to be popular with everybody but thats because they are my thoughts.

Just because you don't say names doesn't make it right. And we wouldn't allow you to call out names anyway. So that's neither here nor there. Fan bashing, in general, just sucks, and I don't care what side of the fence people are on when they do it.

Anywho, you understand my point.

Lions only scored 6 more points after the first quarter while we scored 24. Therefore we out scored the Lions 24-6 after the 1st quarter..

Doh! for some reason that didn't make sense to me, thx

Usually love reading your after game thoughts. Yet, when you start off your post with BASHING readers who click on your thread and wanting read a good post, you lose all credibility. I got no further than the first sentence and stopped. Of course YOU don't care, but why not lead off with HOW AWESOME the game was instead of bashing fans....

And this is the same guy in chats during the game who would give in the first quarter after a bad play lol

While overall Romo's game was decent, he almost single handidly blew this game. Them sacks on back to back drives was unforgivable in most cases. Thats was vintage choke Romo.

I disagree. They were covering pretty well. Vintage choke Romo would have forced a pick. He even talked about it in the post game presser.

Ya Romo should've just thrown some of those away, but then he keeps the next play alive and throws a TD to T.Will........But at least vrs previous years he refuses to throw a Pic..........and that is what he was getting at in the press conf........Not saying he wont have some next game or in the next 3 but he is making a concerted effort not to turn the ball over.........we won the t-over numbers and won the game, if he throws a pick the game end differently, and he get roasted for another year.

I think Free has bone spurs either in his ankle or foot, my guess is he may be out for the rest of the year. I was hoping he would be back, but if he is not close to 100%, why risk having him unable to move.

People say it gives the defense an advantage because they can get an early jump on the ball knowing when you're snapping it, but on the other hand I'm sure Tony feels it gives him an advantage as well. If you snap it with 1 second left, the defense will have to show their hand or they'll be out of position. I guess it's just how you look at it. It's obvious it's Romo's decision to do it though, because it's something he's done under every OC that he has had.

I would find it very hard to believe that Romo this late in his career has trouble snapping the ball off in time, that's why I think it's something he intentionally does. Whether we agree with it or not is besides the point.

Yeah bummer to ear even rumors about this. But ill wait until its official. Rather have Dallas draft a new tackle if Free is damaged goods. I like Ronnie Stanley at the end of RD1
