It infuriates me how many people still refuse to have complete faith in this team. If you havent jumped on the wagon and believe in this team, move out the way because this team is going places, and the Cowboy Nation dont need dead weight.

This team fought and scratch its way to a win, so much emotion passion and pride from this team, from this organization. I havent been this proud of this team ever in my life.

Im going to start with Brandon Carr. Somebody please give this man a game ball. He played Megatron as good as you can ask. CJ had no big plays and no TDs. CJ had a few first down catches but thats to be expected by the best WR in the nfl. Carr was physical and played smart and physical.

Tyrone Crawford is a man possessed off the snap, and the push he gets is incredible. He was sick this week and was throwing up in the first quarter on the sidelines but he never came out. His motor and will never stop, looking forward to seeing Crawford go up against a GB OL thats banged up and a QB with a bad calf.

Bruce Carter has had a very good yr for this team. He was working thru a injury in the middle of the yr that kinda limited his range after a hot start to the yr. But towards the end of the yr he was back to looking healthy. And his production has showed it. There is no suprise that screens run on the cowboys are few and the passes to TEs and RBs have been minimal. He's all over the field and i think he needs to be brought back. Even over McClain, Carter is much more productive and more important to the overall scheme.

Jeremy Mincey has been so consistent this yr and a pleasant suprise. The guy just never stops working and is an average player but makes plays when the cowboys need it the most.

IDK what happened but i saw Selvie on the field more then i would like. Anthony Spencer is having a very good end of the yr and i refuse to think Selvie deserves to start over him.

Church and Wilcox both were very bad early in the game with missed assignments and bad angles. But as the game went on they settled down and were good enough not to surrender big plays. On the earl TD to Tate Wilber needs to call off that blitz because he jumped early and Stafford saw it. Dallas had its safeties back so that play was going to big for detroit reguardless. Church does what the scheme says to do and thats take away the outside Tate puts on a double move and Church slips. Heres a side not, did anybody noticed the tracks from the cart tires on the outside of the hash marks? A few plays slipped on those tracks a few times. Back to the play Church is going to allow that catch but if he doesnt slip he makes the tackle for a modest gain but a first down. He slips but Wilcox who is the deep safety again is in bad posistion and tate runs right past him.

Jeremy Parnell was bad. Early in the game not even getting out his stance until his man is by him which results in a Romo sack. How is it he can push around DEs in other games but gets no leverage against LBers in this game? He was slow picking up the outside blitz. Thats the difference between him and Free. Free is able to pick up a blitz in space while Parnell is only good when a man is right on him. Thats why Free is the starter. Really hope Free is back or Mathews is going to eat Parnell alive.

While overall Romo's game was decent, he almost single handidly blew this game. Them sacks on back to back drives was unforgivable in most cases. Thats was vintage choke Romo. Romo needs to go out this week and buy this entire defense LV bags he bought the OL for saving him months of jokes and ridicule. But when the team needed him he was 2014 Romo. Right on the money.

What Murray has done and continues to do this yr just makes you root for him. While id love to have him running the ball for Dallas for the rest of his career he has to come to terms that RBs just dont get paid anymore. You can tell he's just walking with pain everyday but he continues to carry the load for the boys. Wether he's a Cowboy or not in 2015 i will root for him nomatter what.

TW has 4 TDs in the last 3 games and a avg of 26.4 yrds per catch. Thats called moving the chains. He came up huge yesterday when DET rolled its coverage to Dez. You can tell his hand isnt bothering him anymore. And he's running good routes under coverage when asked. That seems to be where most of his damage is coming from.

Spillner was a monster on special teams.

The OL had some struggles but that was not their fault early in the game. Romo didnt recognize and at times didnt have the time to adjust because he took so much time presnap setting up the play. Thats all on Romo. There were times Romo would see the blitz because of DET players jumping and showing their blitz with Romo looking right at it and he was just hike the ball knowing the line hadnt accounted for that blitzer. You cant block 7 guys with 5 OL. Thats just common sense. Garrett said this flat out coming out of halftime. Martin had some struggle time with Suh but Suh is the type of guy who just uses his force first and gets you off balance. But Martin held his own too. Suh didnt want no part of Fredrick, Fredrick a few times threw Suh to the ground easily. Again Parnell struggled alot, and Tyron too struggles on the edge but held up when they needed him.

All in all this team won a game they probably shouldve lost. Thats just called fight and the want to win the game. Great thing for confidence.

Little hard on Romo but overall good takes.

We won a tough playoff game I would not say we didn't deserve it.

24-6 after the 1st quarter that is solid.

Detroit was our toughest defensive matchup even Romo said that all week.

We took their best punch and got up and outworked them.

Frederick is that good that he can put down Suh in a one on one fight?

Usually love reading your after game thoughts. Yet, when you start off your post with BASHING readers who click on your thread and wanting read a good post, you lose all credibility. I got no further than the first sentence and stopped. Of course YOU don't care, but why not lead off with HOW AWESOME the game was instead of bashing fans....

It infuriates me how many people still refuse to have complete faith in this team.

4 years of not getting past the first round will do that, and now journalists still have egg on their faces after all the ball-busting they did in the preseason about how we're gonna go nowhere.

His first sentence was probably written as a result of being down 14-0 and hearing all the people give up and complain in chat. It was brutal. I'll give Latin the benefit of the doubt on that.

No, but he does it in almost every postgame thread that he makes. It's not really necessary, at this point of the season. We know some fans start the game off sitting on the ledge of the building. One bad play is all the shove they need.

Using labels like "vintage choke Romo" reveals his true colors and takes a lot of his credibility away, too. To me, someone "chokes" when they fail for no other reason than the pressure of the situation got to them. People can fail without choking...happens all the time.

Nice take outside of the consistent Romo rip. He wasn't at his best but he battled all day and delivered the drive. The entire offense was out of sync and he took many hits. No need to bring him down, today.

I'm on board..

Didn't need this thread to get there though.LOL> Just, to announce it..

Romo is a great QB, don't get me wrong. We are lucky to have him. Much like I am lucky to have my wife, but she isn't perfect and neither am I. What bothers me most about Romo is that he is habitually late out of the huddle and I don't know why. Maybe Linehan is giving out the play late, but rarely do we ever seem to snap the ball with more than 5 seconds on the clock and it seems that we are usually getting if off with 1-2 seconds left. This does give the D some advantage off the snap on plays where the clock is about at zero when it is snapped. The other thing is Romo's vision, especially when rattled, but I am now seeing that he is trying not to throw an INT and give the ball back. He is trying NOT to be Brett Favre on those stupid throws he used to make. He does need to chuck the ball away, though, when possible rather than take the sack. Those 10-15 yard losses hurt.

That was the second-best game by a QB against the Lions this season.

The only QB who had a better game against them was Rodgers, and the Packers had 152 yards rushing in that game (Cowboys had 73).

Agreed
That is a damned good defense

yeah it was because of the chat. I dont put peoples names out there which i could. So i just speak in general terms. some people can read it and understand that and some cant. thanks for understanding.

not in all but in some that people just have no other reason then to do that in the chatroom. Which ill remind you that you even said something about it.

Its not a rip its just observing that he resorted to some familiar mistakes we have all seen Romos whole career. I did mention tho that when the team needed him he showed up. think you need to read the whole thing if youre going to say all im doing is ripping him because i can see his pros and cons.
