Rolando back to back games with concussion is a cause for concern. RB

Hitchens, durant and a rookie would suffice. Cam Lawrence showed some ability this yr too.

Lee's injury history is significantly more prominent than RoMac's.

Ro is much stouter and built to handle the punishment better than Lee.

Both have had some bad luck.

I would bet on Ro's durability over Lee's, with the only caveat being that Ro hits so hard that he's more likely to hurt himself.

I hope they're both here next year, and that Carter is the departed one -- too inconsistent and not as footbal smart.

I think Rolando finished like 5 games all yr. He might have started the game but he rarely finished it. Thats not durability.Quad injuries, ankles, hamstrings. Its like any injury he had he was out. This is the same type of stuff that got him ran out of oakland.

I'm not concerned about the concussion. This was a great first year back for Rolando, he faded a bit but he had a flu, concussion and his house was burned down all in 4 weeks. When healthy he's the best football player on the field.

I want to lock him up long term.

Two concussions in two weeks.

It's concerning for a MLB.

But, he didn't start out in football shape, either.

I'd give him a pass for this year, just like D Lawrence and Brent and Ogboye.

His presence in the middle could possibly preserve Lee's career, too.

I would absolutely give him a pass if he comes back at a really good price. That is the key here.

For me its not. It's possible he was brought back too early.

There was also a flu involved and a house burnt down, there's more to it.

The off-season will heal him up, clear those cob webs.

He has way to much upside.

It doesnt matter if he was in football shape or if he wouldve been just fine. Thats his M.O going back to Oakland he wont suck it up and play injured. Back to back games with concussions cant be good either. especially for a guy playing LBer

I want Rolando back. I know he dropped off toward the end, but the guy's house burned down.

He was a big part of our defense this year.

having had this nasty flu that's going around I wonder if he never recovered from that also.

He also saved our rear ends this year. He had not played football in a year and was not in great football shape. Let's see what a year in our conditioning program can do for him. He also plays hurt, I like that. I think Rolando is here long term, he is a top 5 talent and Jerry really likes him.

Did the defense miss him when he was out? I think they did just fine.

Yes we missed him yesterday in the second half. I like him in the middle in coverage and I like his physicality against opposing Rb's. Anthony Hitchen's and Bruce carter are playing well, but if we want a chance at a "Great Defense" It starts with getting Rolando McClain on the field with Sean Lee. I love Bruce Carter at Sam and Hitchens as our fourth guy.

How much would you offer mcClain?

We saw what going out getting a stud DE will do for your team in Peppers. He paid for himself in that one game yesterday. He sacked Romo, with a strip, and then made the play of the day by beating Martin and pounding the ball out of Demarco's hands.

We can continue the process, but we need one stud DE to go along with it!
