I get what you are stating about the 7th round, but it would be easier to simply allow him to be an undrafted free agent and see first of all if Dooley is comfortable. There have been a few of these ex-Volunteers (Da'Rick Rogers for example) that we did not bother with.

He has been posting pre draft stuff and worked out at FAU pro day so I am pretty sure he is eligible. And I think he is before Dooley's time but I would have given Da'rick Rogers a shot he had a good year last year and will be a starter this year probably.. In the 7th I would rather take a shot on top 100 type talents with issues than a guy who can't play

I strongly disagree.. Even if Shazier's mental game is lacking it is lacking but he is going 150 MPH..Carter's mental game is lacking and he supplements that with consistently poor effort..

Word of warning about Jimmie Ward. According to Adam Caplan he has just been cleared to begin running after his surgically repaired foot. Still like the player though. Just not at #16. Pretty risky.
