Bros, this feels like the last day of school. Will we keep in touch over the summer break?

I expect to lose this game. So I don't suggest this is the path to victory. Just part of the path to making it difficult on Tampa Bay.

I ask for two things this game. One on offense and one on defense. One they'll never do and one they might.

Let's start with the possible one. I want to make the old man move and in order to do that it means inside pressure. Not possible with our DTs. The cast of The Longest Yard was more talented. So we have to get aggressive with stunts and inside blitzes. Micah, Clark, Vander Esch, Barr, Kearse, Wilson, I want to blitz like we've never blitzed before. With that comes risk but it's one I'm willing to take rather than death by a thousand cuts as Brady surgically moves down the field.

The old man will move one way or the other. I would see to it as the defensive coordinator.

Now for the ask I'll never get. I want Ezekiel Elliott and his gargantuan melon relegated to short yardage and goal line only. I don't want to waste 10 plus downs on offense in this game to a glorified fullback. We don't have the offensive line to play smashmouth. I still want to run the ball but Pollard can handle the load.

The best way to avoid 2nd and 3rd and longs is to keep Prescott's life partner on the bench.

That's it. Just those two things. If the Buccaneers are going to beat us make them do it with Brady uncomfortable in the pocket and having to defend our best hand on offense. Nothing given to them. Earn the victory.

I don't think it's too much to ask.

Cowboys!

I'll see you in the Draft Zone after the game.
I agree that the tackles on the “Mean Machine” were better than ours ( not thrilled with their cheerleaders though) but I believe this team wins solely because it due to be on the top wave of their schizophrenic psyche.

the Boys will win big this week, raise all of our hopes one more time, and than summarily break all of our hearts right on schedule the following week……it’s just what they do.

Brady is getting the ball out fastest in the league so not sure if stunts and blitz are going to have time to get home. So, what I would ask is press coverage from the dbs. Keep it tight and take away the easy to release for his quick throws. Make him throw tight windows to slow down the release and give it he pass rush a chance.

Agree witcha brother on both requests. I’m hoping Big Mac is thinking his Job security is on the line and he decides to be both aggressive and smart at the same time- which may be a big ask.

I completely understand why so many Cowboys fans are pessimistic going into tonight. Since 1995, the Jones boys’ sales pitch has ALWAYS exceeded this team’s ability to deliver. It’s as clear as a sunny day they don’t really know how to build a playoff tough roster. Their expertise is about how to make money by generating talk, smoke and noise. I’ve given up on them ever realizing that winning playoff games is the greatest sales pitch ever. I love this team IN SPITE of the owner and his DNA fortunate offspring.

So honestly- (hate to admit it) I’m of the opinion if we’re going to win any games this playoff cycle it will be because Lady Luck has decided to have some sweet mercy on this fan base.

Cowboys are definitely the better team. Just don’t know if they’re going to show up. Bipolar.

Palpatine and the Empire couldn't stop the Ewoks but you think Mike McCarthy can? Good luck with that.

This is very simple to me. If they cannot beat this team, forget the Niners, Eagles or even the Giants. Doesn't matter.

These teams are mirror images on one another with their inconsistency, expect at QB. Brady's been there all along but his team hasn't.

With ALL of the chatter about Prescott's picks, this will be a most interesting game to see if he responds by playing it safe and takes risks against this defense because this is going to be the easiest defense he could face in the playoffs.

The other dynamic in this game is there will be a lot of eyes on the coordinators with millions to be made.

I was thinking earlier today that if we insist on a heavy dose of Zeke we will probably lose this game. I would start Polllard as well.

What I think the Cowboy will do on the first play: Zeke up the middle

What I think the Cowboys should do on the first play: Short pass to Pollard out of the backfield.

The latter is a high percentage play, gets Dak some success, catches TB off guard, gives Pollard a change for a big play and get involved early.
