Bros, this feels like the last day of school. Will we keep in touch over the summer break?

I expect to lose this game. So I don't suggest this is the path to victory. Just part of the path to making it difficult on Tampa Bay.

I ask for two things this game. One on offense and one on defense. One they'll never do and one they might.

Let's start with the possible one. I want to make the old man move and in order to do that it means inside pressure. Not possible with our DTs. The cast of The Longest Yard was more talented. So we have to get aggressive with stunts and inside blitzes. Micah, Clark, Vander Esch, Barr, Kearse, Wilson, I want to blitz like we've never blitzed before. With that comes risk but it's one I'm willing to take rather than death by a thousand cuts as Brady surgically moves down the field.

The old man will move one way or the other. I would see to it as the defensive coordinator.

Now for the ask I'll never get. I want Ezekiel Elliott and his gargantuan melon relegated to short yardage and goal line only. I don't want to waste 10 plus downs on offense in this game to a glorified fullback. We don't have the offensive line to play smashmouth. I still want to run the ball but Pollard can handle the load.

The best way to avoid 2nd and 3rd and longs is to keep Prescott's life partner on the bench.

That's it. Just those two things. If the Buccaneers are going to beat us make them do it with Brady uncomfortable in the pocket and having to defend our best hand on offense. Nothing given to them. Earn the victory.

I don't think it's too much to ask.

Cowboys!

I'll see you in the Draft Zone after the game.
I support both of your wishes. I’m actually hoping our DTs can get a little penetration vs the TB backups. Just pushing the pocket so he can’t step up will be enough to let our DEs get home or make TB throw before he wants to.

As for Pollard. We must deploy him more than ever, not just to make big plays but also to move one of those LBs out of the box and away from the middle. Im sick of keeping Zeke in for pass protection. Use a guy like Pollard as the outlet guy, having him go where the blitz came from. Zeke is a great blocker, but it’s just one less weapon on an offense with only 1 real WR.

They’ve been lying to us for 2 years. Maybe this is the game to finally use both backs together much more.
Both RBs, 2 TEs, and Ceedee. Give those LBs and safeties more to think about.

I’m not expecting a loss as much as last year. We were outmatched in key areas and it played out much as expected.

This game much different matchups. Most of which favor us. The only matchup that doesn’t is the possibility of the GOAT having a great game or miraculous come back.

That’s the only matchup that concerns . With both of our starting CB’s out we are more vulnerable. We have to cause some havoc and disruption. If you don’t get in Brady’s face he will surgically dissect you.

And no turnovers giving them short fields. If we can do those two things I like our chances. We appear the overall better team.

Living in Tampa.... they are nervous.
i wonder why the bucs fans are nervous. the cowboys will find a way to lose they always do. i also wish elliott would sit on bench the whole game he offers nothing to this team now.

Pressure is all on us. We have most wins in last two seasons in NFC with nothing so far to show for it in playoffs.

Pressure on Dak and McCarthy to break thru. Not for their jobs but respectability in the playoffs.

I don't care much about what you have to say (sarcasm), I just want to see #21 not get so many 2 yard runs, I actually want to see him MOVE THE CHAINS, I know it's asking so damn much, but anything can happen!!! (Sheesh)

One thing I would like to see is a commitment to abandon the same rote sequence of plays on offense. It's Kellen Moore, so I don't expect it. Stop with the first down runs up the middle. Or, on the rare occasion we do pass on 1st down, running on second if the prior pass play is incomplete. Then the coaches looked confused when opposing defenses read our plays - they openly admit it following the game. I want to see a drive in the 1st quarter that takes 9 plays - with 6 or 7 of those plays being passes. Stop with trying to achieve a 50/50 run/pass outcome. Put pressure on Tampa's secondary early and get Dak in a rhythm. And my message to Dak - take what the defense gives you. I prefer the 3-yard pass to Pollard in the flat with his ability to get YAC then trying to force a pass to Schultz or to Brown in double coverage.
