If there's a HoF player in this draft class, I'd put my chips on Jack. I see a superstar MLB who seems to play so much faster than everyone else.

But I'd be lying if I didn't feel like Jack shows some signs of flakiness or prima donna-ness. Does he take the same approach in the NFL if he has a 6 week injury? Does he turn it into an 8-10 week injury out of caution or is he a guy you can't keep off the field? Is he able to play with minor injuries? Does he make 'business decisions' in a contract year?

I've cooled on him but I'm prepared to rue passing on him for the next 10 years. Hopefully I'm not doing it while he's in a Giants uniform.

They brought Tyron. In fact they pretty started broadcasting after the combine that they were taking him

I thought I heard on one of the Cowboys shows that they didn't? Also...Ware was not brought in either....

The injury is worrisome. I have also not been up to date on all the prospects either.

With that being said, Marinelli has proven he can run a very good defense if you find him good players who fit his system. Isn't the two most important pieces of his defense are being able to create pressure using only your four lineman and then having a stud linebacker to control the middle of the field? Think of Urlacher in Chicago and Derrick Brooks in Tampa. The Tampa Bay and Chicago defenses were loaded with good players but I keep on going back that it was the middle linebackers who made those defenses run. They were lynch pins in those defenses for a good decade. I have no idea if Jack will have a career close to either but doesn't his measurables and style of play compare to those two?

For linebacker, why not just take Notre Dame's linebacker in the 3rd round, and just let him rehab properly for his first year?

Because it's unclear he may even ever be healthy.

I do agree that Myles Jack could someday be an HOFer.
The potential is off the charts.

But with A team with so many needs, one that has Sean Lee, Ro McClain, and has drafted a few you LBs lately...not so sure Mack is a target at 4 for Dallas

Brooks was an OLB. Jack would be compared to Derrick Brooks. Smaller LB, great in coverage, awesome instincts, should be a playmaker at OLB.

Haven't felt this strong about a prospect since JJ Watt. Myles Jack is going to win NFL DPOY one day.

Will be a massive mistake to pass on him for a RB or jag DE.

If you're willing to play running back at times and return some kicks, while playing LB that's not a business decision.

Jack loves to play football.

Come on. A faster Ray Lewis? Does this same scout think Ramsey is a bigger/stronger Deion Sanders????
