Myles Jack not cleared for combine

Could be wrong and there really is a problem, but Im assuming it's a business decision. Why run at the combine if you're not 100% sure when you can wait until perfect conditions at your pro day?

If that is the real reason for a linebacker not participating...I want nothing to do with him at number 4 pick.

Considering he has agreed to undergo the physical and medical check, teams are going to know if he's making a business decision. I couldn't say whether or not, or how much that will effect his stock, but I can't see it being completely ignored. Then again, if he puts on a circus show in March, it will be forgotten.

Happens every year though. And it happens with guys who aren't coming off of a fairly serious knee surgery. If you need to see a guy run in tights to know whether you want to pick him then there's a problem to begin with. And as RS12 said above, he's going to wait and then blow up the UCLA pro day and it all works out in his favor. Not the 1st or last time it will happen.

Please explain this logic

Guessing he means it might show how tough he isnt. Lb seems like they do need to be the toughest guys in the field. It makes me think that a but too.

But I can see not risking further Injury also I guess.

Sounds like a business decision but time will tell, he will probably do the UCLA pro day instead.

Truly a shame but at least teams will get the general measurables and get to look at that knee.

as long as he will let teams interview and examine the knee at combine then their really no problem. now if he does no drills at his pro day then yea forget him.

Looks like jaylon smith might be the pick if this turns out bad. If dallas is wanting to go lb.

It won't be DL, RB, SAFETY or OL so I'm guessing qb lb or cb.

Has UCLA set the date for their Pro Day? I can't find it online but will go and post about it if its open to the public.

If this injury takes 6-8 months to heal(and he hurt it Sept 22nd)...then what is the rush to get back so soon? I don't have a problem w/ him sitting out. Let nature takes it's course. Last thing I wanna see is him reinjuring the knee in underwear olympics.o_O
