Every coach in the NFL is under pressure to have his team perform to the level of his talent. Wade just happens to coach a team that should be competing to the championship.

But using language that implies his job is in particular need of saving only invites the sort of thoughtless criticism of the job he's done that's unfair and unappreciative.

Wade looks like a marshmallow.

If he don't win it all this year, I think he's toasted.

For the record, Wade seem like a whiner to me.

Shut up goober.

Wade's an easy target in the media. That's just the way it is. Its not one thing but rather a combination of them.

Wade will never be criticized for being an overly sensitive S.O.B. like his predecessor, nor accused of smothering his team with discipline to the point of being counter-productive.

He won't be accused of being so placid that his teams fall into playing emotionless a la Landry.

But he will show his country-bumpkin side at times in a way that makes fans feel like Goober Pyle is running the show. He'll be criticized for it, and at times unjustifiably.

Everyone has their own style and the strengths & weaknesses that come with it. In addition, there is no one best way.

One thing he did do was form a very good relationship with players like TO. He does not call him "the player". I think much like Bum Phillips the player love playing for Wade and I think they will go out and lay it on the line for Wade.
