Imagine what a great life the punter has. My dream for my son is to one day be a punter. No one wants this job. Everyone wants to play QB or some high recognition position. Forget that. Play the odds. Punt. Train from the time you are young to do nothing but punt. Then you can have a 20 year career where you almost never get hit and crippled. All you do is punt a ball about 5 times a game. Worse case you make just over the vet minimum. Your rich either way. Cake. :laugh2:

I'm glad to see Buehler doing well in practice this has got to help his confidence and face it confidence is a big part of FG kicking; we have seen what can happen when a guy loses his confidence. We all know Buehler has a strong leg and with the help he received from Boniol he is developing good form and technique in his FG kicking.

Don't get any kind of excited. I was at camp today. 3 of the kicks were from the 7 yard line with only McBriar, LP and Buehler.

3 more were from the 10 yard line +/- with a rush. One of them would have easily been blocked, if not picked out of the air for a TD the other way.

Calvin Watkins' report said that all of Beuhler's kicks were from 30 yards or in today as they have been throughout much of camp. Not really sure what the thought process behind that is. So Wade can say, "Heh heh, he made all 6 today"..well that's good for his confidence, BUT any NFL kicker should be making those. If we're really trying to see if he can cut the mustard, he needs to be kicking from beyond 30.

OK now I'm confused.
