Any thoughts on the show?

I didn't watch it when it first came out. Seemed like there was always something better on. But now that I've had my afternoons free for a while I've been watching it almost every day. It comes on @ 4pm here in the great northeast.

I like Jamie's approach to things better than Adam's. But they're both incredible at inventing some pretty neat gadgets. (Move over McGyver)

I highly recommend it if you get a chance.



Also, I think I'm in love with Kari. There's something very attractive about a woman who knows how to use tools and engineering and all that. Amongst her other more natural attributes.

I don't watch it regularly, but if I'm flipping channels I'll definitely catch it while it's on.

I enjoyed the Jaws special where they tested some of the stunts from the movie. I thought the shark held up a few myths, even considering they shafted it in size. The shark in the movie was 25 ft long; they used an average Great White size of 17-19 ft.

Funny thing was the program that came on directly after the show claimed Great White's have been found at lengths of 23 ft. So 25 ft wasn't the complete stretch they were suggesting.

I enjoyed that one as well. I thought it was cool when their man made shark went completely through an exact replica of the shark cage in JAWS.


It seems there's almost nothing they won't tackle.

The cage myth was pretty cool.

For the Jaws finale, I was kind of surprised the oxygen tank didn't explode. I thought a faint spark would be enough to ignite the O2, but it didn't happen. The bullet had no problem penetrating the tank, though.

I enjoy Mythbusters...

I started watching from show #1 then stopped watching after a while. Recently I have been TiVo-ing all the episodes and have gotten back into it...

It's a very entertaining show...
