Not sure if he's ready yet, but think this guy will start anytime the opposing team has a big WR that isn't shifty?

Should he not be the one that is covering someone like Mike Evans the entire game or Mike Williams this Sunday?

Can Kelvin Joseph play slot in this situation like vs TB? Joseph on Antonio Brown, Wright on Evans, Diggs on Godwin. *In the future after the rookies get more experience and are trusted to start of course.

Wright should at the very least be getting those matchups in the red zone I would think.

Many people are over reacting to 1 week vs a top tier group of receivers with TB at the helm. There is no CB on this team who can hang with AB all by himself all day. When you face 3 elite receiving threats and no elite CB's, someone is getting burned.

If you don't think AB doesn't get a 5 yard separation on a 3 yard slant against Wright your highly mistaken. AB struggled but Wright wouldve been eaten alive.

Huh? There is nowhere in the entire post that says to put Wright on AB under any circumstance. If the other team has nothing but AB style receivers, he probably shouldn't even be playing at all.

It says to put Wright on Mike Evans for the entire game, or Mike Williams, or any other receiver that has a similar style & build.

The question for covering AB was if Kelvin Joseph could play slot.

Last I heard it was very unlikely he would be able to meet what needs to be done in time.

I wouldn't expect him to play.

That aside they really need to be careful that situation doesn't spread around the locker room.

It's a big loss, but I'm not that concerned. Dallas is still going to need to score a ton to win this one.

I'm much more concerned about Collins being out and the best option for replacement isn't what we are actually going to do

I tried to say it in the OP, this is not right now. Joseph isn't even available right now. He's on IR. This is for the future. Maybe even mid-season. Is this the plan? Why would you not play Wright on a Mike Evans/Mike Williams esque receiver for the entire game?

I'd still try Wright on Mike Williams for a few plays this game at least just to see how he does and to get some film for him to study.

I dont think AB would have been a good matchup for us against Wright. AB's strength against NW's weakness.

umm not yet but..

IF Brown has early issues Q1, Canady needs shot but i have no issues with Wright getting some snaps he needs to get feel for the speed of aso of these NFL elite wrs.but no way its a game to be experimenting, unless it becomes necessary..

KJ having a groin issue, well for CB that's bad news for 2021, id let him sit until game 6 be 100% before you even think about bringing him in..

Brown has sucked since he came into the league. He is going to be facing more elite talent this week.

I actually think Wright would match up great against Williams and all of their receivers. It would be the perfect game to use him.

Why? Diggs shut him down. Evans is a speed guy regardless of size and prob would’ve beat Wright deep a couple of times.
