Nakobe Dean Snub

I will never forget in 2023, instead of signing Bobby Wagner, we re-signed oft-injured Leighton Vander Esch to a two yr, $11 million dollar deal. LVE ended the year on IR and it also ended his career.

Wagner signed a one year, $7 million deal with Seattle in ‘23, before signing with the commanders in ‘24 for one $8 million dollar deal, reuniting with Dan Quinn. Wagner later had said he wanted to play for Quinn in ‘23 but Dallas had re-signed LVE.

Imagine what this defense could have been in ‘23 with Wagner, Parsons, D-Law, etc. Another example of very poor cap management and talent assessment by our FO.

Maybe we could get Wagner on a one yr deal for’26.
I do agree with your assessment of their talent evaluation. However, LVE is a poor example. In this case they gambled on LVE’s health. Dumb? Probably but LVE was a very good player and not a huge drop off from Wagner if he would have stayed healthy.

For a one year deal Wagner can certainly help I would think plus an early and late LB pick in the draft . “ wondering and speculating “ why an injury prone Dean signed in Vegas does Dallas no good. I look at it as bullet dodged .

What in the world are you even yammering about

You said the Raiders hadn't been in the Superbowl during his lifetime.

I corrected you.

End of story.
Actually...it was someone else that said the Raiders never went to the SuperBowl during his lifetime....and I was correcting him.

Why are you even sticking ur nose into my convo with him?

LVE would've been a HOFer w/o the injuries.

And think Bog. Dean cannot stay on the field, let others deal w/ that crapp.

Players don’t care who they play against. A guy playing against a team he once played for happens multiple times every week of every NFL season. Dean signed with the Raiders because they offered him more money than any other team including the Eagles.

And where do you get off suggesting others go elsewhere?
If they have a better choice they absolutely do.. So I'm glad you're in their heads and you think your opinion weighs more than mine I said it's my opinion and I'm betting I'm right there's no reason he should have went to the Raiders over the Cowboys you're saying you snuff the Cowboys and I'm telling you he didn't so we're going to move on from this dumb discussion..

Doesn't matter now but act like the Raiders are somehow better than the Cowboys and that's why he chose them it's why you have no validity in this debate..

For not the better choice and the contract was not better And I'm telling you if a player does have a choice he'd rather not see a team history with.. Again I'm saying it again it's my opinion and it has more validity than yours because the Raiders are not better than the Cowboys the contracts are almost the same and some people said the Cowboys contract might have had a little bit better language in it and he still chose the Raiders yes they're driven by money but if all things are equal he rather not see the Eagles twice a year that's why he went there that's a fact from where I sit it can only make sense I use common sense...

He didn't want to be vilified in Philly by leaving them for Dallas.
Yeah some here don't get it now if the Cowboys contract would have been ridiculously better he would have took it But because they were almost equal he went with the Raiders Yes it's driven by money but because he had a choice not to see the Eagles twice a year common sense says that's why he chose the Raiders he did not snub the Cowboys..

People in here just don't get it they want to be right they want to think the Cowboys can't get free agents because they're hated as Jerry Jones fault and it's not true..

The Las Vegas Raiders may not be the most desirable NFL franchise to be part of right now. The same can be said of the Dallas Cowboys. It’s tough to have to accept. It’s true.

If the guy didn’t want to play against the Eagles and cared about playing for a good team he’d have agreed to whatever the Eagles offered him. Obviously he chose say goodbye to the Eagles and get the best he could for himself and the people he cares about.

......it was sarcasm.

Get on the decaf.
Yeah bc its easy to tell the tone of a message, when it is written in text.

If the premies of what you were trying to communicate wasn't easily discernable? Then the communication is trash.
