There's rumors swirling that Dean turned down an equal or slightly better deal from Jerry to go with the Raiders. Does Dean believe there's more of an upside with the Raiders than here? I know our 30 year history doesn't exactly promote confidence in our team or Jerry. Maybe we're relegated to shopping off the clearance rack....

There is more of an upside with the Raiders.

Brian Schottenheimer isn’t the HC.

Jerry Jones isn’t the owner.

But, most importantly, the #1 overall pick that’s going to be a QB.

The Cowboys can’t compete with that.

It’s been discussed. A lot of his ex teammates went to the Raiders. Quay Walker was one of those teammates. Brock Bowers is already there.

Instead of paying players what they’re worth or committing to proven talent, they pinch pennies and gamble on bargain signings. Around the league, the Cowboys aren’t seen as a serious contender—they’re seen as a dysfunctional franchise. And that won’t change until Jerry Jones and his son finally step aside.

I never said the Raiders have. I said the cowboys don’t have more. Which means they’re about equal.


Their Super Bowl wins probably feel as far back as ours do. For somebody Nakobe Deans age.

It’s all ancient history to him.

The reason is called money. I read that the Eagles didn't want to pay him what he wanted due to his injury history. Evidently Jerry was willing.
