Forrest Gump.....no way could I watch that more than twice....
Movie lovers are a very diverse group. Tom Hanks has received Oscar nominations for Saving Private Ryan, Castaway and Big plus won for Philadelphia but I think Forrest Gump remains his best work to-date. He carries the movie, which is excellent by itself, from start to finish. There are great lines throughout, which Hanks delivers with perfection. And I will stop myself from getting into the rest of the cast.

The movie is so down-to-earth yet filled with numerous accomplishments achieved by a mentally challenged character that would awe any "normal" individual. FG is a film that has drawn me back time-and-time again despite its rather long runtime. The movie is a very good example of different strokes for different folks.

lol! Sometimes I forget having seen David Niven's version. :p

I was nervous about the rebooting of the Ian Fleming series with Daniel Craig. The few movies I had seen him play in prior to Casino Royale were Layer Cake and Lara Croft Tomb Raider, and Road To Perdition, so it was not a lot to go on. How would they re-imagine the franchise's stories with, what I would define as, a relative unknown? Craig did not only put my fears to rest. He buried them.

For me (and just my opinion any Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan fans reading this  ) Craig is the best Bond since Sean Connery. Bar none. I have watched and enjoyed pretty much every 007 film but Skyfall remains the one Bond movie I ever bought for my home collection. primarily due to Craig's performance. Now I am starting to wonder who will eventually take HIS place.

Totally agree on all counts.

I saw the first promo picture of Craig as Bond and thought "***??", but after the first 20 minutes of CR, I was in. CR became my favorite Bond film. Thunderball had been my favorite up to that point.
