I hate to be stupid, if it has already been discussed and decided, but have they come up with a name?

Better not be something like a sellout "Pepsi Stadium"

I want it "Tom Landry Field" or "Schram Stadium" or HightechDave Palace. You know, something reasonable...

:D

Get ready to be disappointed because naming rights will be sold. The Cards just got 154 million for 20 years, The Cowboys will get more than that.

I bet it will somehow involve NIKE. I think NIKE tried to buy naming rights to Texas Stadium years ago, but for some reason couldn't.

During the intitial phase they said the Texas stadium would stay in the name it will probably be something like "Texas Stadium by Nike"

Jurassic "Park"? ;)

LOL

Actually I found this link where it refers to the Dallas Cowboys Park

http://users.california.com/~csuppes/NFL/DallasCowboys/newindex.htm

www.dallascowboyspark.com was up at one time... it has since been taken down.

found this at wikipedia.com

New Cowboys Stadium is the temporary name to a new stadium currently being constructed in Arlington, Texas. The stadium, designed by designed by HKS architectural firm[1] and built at a cost of over $650 million dollars[2], will host the Dallas Cowboys as well as college football games and other sporting events. It will be the most expensive stadium ever constructed for an NFL team.[citation needed] The stadium is due to open in 2009 and will hold 75,000 people. Seating capacity could be increased to 100,000 people. The stadium replaces the Cowboys current stadium, Texas Stadium. Naming rights to the stadium will almost certainly be sold once completion of the stadium gets closer

it'd be great if they could include Coach Tom's name in there somewhere - but it will likely be obscured by some corporate moniker. naming rights are pretty big business and jerry jones is a businessman first.

doesn't look good for Landry.

Cowboys Zone.....? it could work

I like it. The naming rights to the Cardinals stadium were bought for $150 Million. There are currently 5800 members, so we each need to chip in $26,000.

I'll tell yall what, we can use my paypal account so that we can keep all the money in one spot. ;)

Its true that Jerry is a businessman. But I'd say he's a Cowboys fan first. I don't think we are going to wind up with 100% the name we want, but I wouldn't be surprised of Landry's name wound up in it.
