I like it. The naming rights to the Cardinals stadium were bought for $150 Million. There are currently 5800 members, so we each need to chip in $26,000.

I'll tell yall what, we can use my paypal account so that we can keep all the money in one spot. ;)

I would like to see Nike in the name, if there is one company I would want the Cowboys to have in their name, it would be Nike (one of the best marketed brands in the world).

I would be suprised to see Laundry in the name, I know JJ will include alot of history in this stadium, but I doubt he would put the name of the coach he got rid of in it. It is a good idea though.

Coca-Cola would be the biggest and best brand to market. Not Nike.

I would take Microsoft , McDonalds, Dell or even Sony over Nike.

I wish the stadium known as FedEx was still known as Jack Kent Cooke Stadium. As an owner with increasing overhead, you have to take advantage of the opportunities.

First, read my post again, I said one of the best is Nike, not the best (I have my MBA in marketing, Nike is at the top).

Second, in an athletic environment, Nike is high, real high. I'm not talking sodas, PCs, or hamburgers here. In athletics, Nike is real high.

Tiger, Jordan, and such. Athletics, Nike is at the top of the ladder.

I hate to be stupid, if it has already been discussed and decided, but have they come up with a name?

Better not be something like a sellout "Pepsi Stadium"

I want it "Tom Landry Field" or "Schram Stadium" or HightechDave Palace. You know, something reasonable...

:D

I think CowboysZone Stadium has a nice ring to it... :D

I believe Jerry has a rather long-term relationship with Pepsi, IIRC...

Very interesting.

MBA in marketing = nice!!!

Its true that Dallas being associated with OTHER greatness(Nike) is a good idea.

America's Stadium by Nike

or

America's Nike Stadium

If I was dropping the money that Jerry has on building this stadium I'd name Jones Stadium. Street leading up to the stadium should be called Victory Lane

i doubt very much Jones would put the name Landry in the new stadium. he loves the attention too much. my guess it will be texas stadium until a sponsor is secured.

Well, the entire thing is a Park of sorts, as I understand it, so maybe you could call The entire park one thing (insert name and sponser here) but the stadium itself, maybe that could be Landry Field. Whatever happens, I vote Landry Field and the rest be damned.

I also expect absolutly nobody to take note of my opinion.

I'm hoping Landry could be included in somehow. Don't see any reason why it can't be called Landry Field at Pepsi's Texas Stadium (or some other corporate sponsor). But I also want it to be an American company sponsor cause the Cowboys are "America's team". If not that, at least a major road around the stadium or leading into the stadium can be called Landry Way.

Ooo Ooo Ooo I just had a breakthrough. Call it....Viagra Field! The tag line could be..."Our fans really get up for the game". :)

It would be nice if they could call it something like "Nike Stadium at Tom Landry Park" with the stadium itself named "Nike" but the surrounding complex called "Tom Landry Park". In fact I expect to see something like this although 'Nike' and 'Tom Landry' may not be the names used. It could be 'Pepsi Stadium at Cowboys Park' or some other combination like this. The point being I expect a corporate sponsor name on the stadium and a traditional Cowboys related name on the surrounding park.
