This quarterback is one of only two quarterbacks since 1970 to not throw an INT in his firs 80 NFL attempts. The other is Tom Brady.

Saw his first game action in his 2nd season when the starter went out with an injury. His team was down by 11 points when he came in at the start of the 2nd half. He led his team to a field goal and two TD's, the last coming with less than two minutes in the 4th quarter, a 37 yard deep pass. This TD would have been a tying score, sending the game into overtime, but the team's kicker missed the extra point. They lost by one point.

The following week he started for the 1st time against the eventual division champions. Down 13-7 in the 4th quarter, he drove his team down the field and threw the come from behind TD with less than a minute to play. In his first start, his team won by one point.

He averaged 5 rushing attempts a game, averaging 5.7 yards a carry.

He never threw a single NFL interception.

He is ranked #2 in NFL history for QB passer rating with two minutes or less in the 4th quarter.

Can you name this quarterback?

Are you trying to point out that some stats can be misleading? That sample size is important? What? I don't get it.

A friend of mine, argues that James Street a QB from U. Of Texas, was the best college QB ever, because he never lost a game. He was 20-0....
