At this point our only hope of a top organization is a sunken yacht. We Need the Jones' to no longer own this team. We need a young, smart, aggressive GM. We need a 2023 HC with modern ideas and concepts. Lastly, we need a DC who believes that physicality and speed are BOTH required for NFL defensive success. Until all that happens, we watch the same old song and dance.

Other than that we are doing great. BTW I have the Jones as ex owner fantasy daily.

I actually agree with this. It would be best long term for us to lose to Detroit then Washington and then get ousted in the WC round. We have to pop the delusional thinking that we are contenders and we can not extend Dak to a record setting contract.

1 extra win is not worth a guaranteed Dak and McCarthy extension.

On Defense:

I for one am just ready for a new DC...one with fresh ideas...new scheme and focused on the trenches....DQ has hand picked his players, his scheme and its nothing more than Atlanta 2.0 scheme. Built (undersized defense) to rush the passer and cant stop the run....if it were not for Micah Parsons...DQ would have been fired years ago..... Parsons is the savior of this defense...

On Offense:

I like MM and DAK play calling,....not perfect and head scratching at times....but light years better than Kellen Moore...but TP is not the answer...Fangio and other DC no how to shut down the WR's and force Dallas to try and run...which they cant do TP has 12 carries for 38yrs....Week after week...no run game....This team needs a Power Back...one that can hammer the defense to open up the pass....and one other note....might be time to look for a new OL coach....this OL has been a hot mess, cant run, cant pass block jsut seems lost most the time...DAK is taking a beating....

Let's talk draft.

1st round - let's go for a reach and then tell everyone they need to wait a decade before they can judge whether or not the player is worth a darn.

2nd round - TE

3rd round - take a flier on a player coming off a devastating injury.

4th round - take a flier on a RB with off the field issues.

5th to 7th round - throw darts at a board and maybe get a surprise player on pure random chance.

UDFA - this seems to be where we have the most success.

I completely agree. At some point the delusion has to stop. We’re good against bad teams at home. We’re average to below average on the road. Our roster isn’t constructed to win these types of games and keeping McCarthy and Dak just shows we’re happy being an above average regular season team.

Who's narrative is it anyway? The producer at NFL.com? The narrative is unchanged win or loss, we need to go to the NFC champ game to change the narrative.

The narrative can remain but the point remains the only team we are afraid of is SF.

We are what we are and it is what it is. We are right where I thought we’d be in 5th seed.

Let’s see what happens in playoffs. I can see us beating South winner and maybe a lower seed like LA who is playing well could upset Det or Phil and we don’t have to go to SF in Div round.
