I am starting to like Harvick. Keselowski reminds me of the kid at school that runs his mouth at you then runs to the teacher, I'm surprised none of the drivers haven't caught him by himself in the motor home lot yet.

Someone said, actually it was Keselowski... If we race like the way it is it will always be the same front runners and winners. His point was, I am going to fight for position and not just accept that someone is in front of me or if there is a space to squeeze in between, he will take it.

It sorta made sense... any race car experts on here? Did he make a good point or was it bs?

Pretty much bs. He says that when it is him doing the banging but whines like a b when it is done to him. Fact is they all do it sometimes, this isnt some new style of racing he just invented, he just likes to play victim when he is called out for it.

That was Harvicks point when he pushed him into Gordon. If your going to play dirty on the track you better be ready to back it up when you get out of the car. I was never a fan of Earnhardt Sr. but at least he would back up what he did on the track when he got back to the pits and you had to kinda respect it.

I never recall Earnhardt Sr. ever once getting into a fight.

He was so damn popular nobody would even think of getting in his face, dude could just wreck the hell out of people but he was just like the rest, if he wrecked someone it was just racing, if someone wrecked him they were idiots.

He didnt have to, he had the respect of the garage. They gave him the name intimidator for a reason and it wasnt just for how he drove his car. A good example of this would be the post race interview of Eddie Cheever after an IROC race the day before Earnhardt died, Cheever put him in the grass in the closing laps and after the race looked like he was going to pee himself when Dale walked up to him.

While I think the field respects Keselowskis driving talent I dont think they respect him as a person. If you have half the field and someone like Matt Kenseth wanting to knock your teeth down your throat then maybe its not everybody else that is wrong.

Hamlin: Most drivers don't respect Keselowski

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) -- Denny Hamlin thinks most drivers don't respect Brad Keselowski, and the contempt stems from the 2012 NASCAR champion's refusal to show any remorse for his aggressive driving.

Hamlin spoke during a national conference call on Tuesday, two days after a brawl between Keselowski and Jeff Gordon on pit road at Texas Motor Speedway.

Hamlin said the consensus among his peers was Keselowski didn't have enough space to attempt a pass of Gordon in the closing laps of Sunday's race. Keselowski's bid to squeeze his car through a gap between Gordon and Jimmie Johnson after a restart led to contact between Gordon and Keselowski, which triggered a post-race fight that left both drivers slightly bloodied.

Respecting his driving and not respecting him as a person.
He races to win! If it were you in his boat would you follow the same old, same old and watch all the big time, same old names win...or would you try to get yours?

I am not taking up for the guy. I don't watch this. I don't know him. Actually find out more from asking you guys.
He wants it, he goes for it.

Wanting it and going for it because you are good and can get it is one thing. Being stupid is another thing.

Ernie Irvan used to do stupid stuff because he wanted it and went for it. The result was a lot of wrecks. When he changed how he drove and drove smarter he won more races - helped to be in the 28 car too. He didnt get to race that long as a "smarter" driver because of his head injury.

Brad is too cocky and an idiot. Much like Kyle Busch, another clown.

Ryan Newman in the championship round without winning a race, damn shame Kenseth didn't make it also. I hope Newman comes in around 16th next week and wins the championship.
