He got the trophy and it was primarily due to misfortune to all the other chase drivers. I dont remember the details but it all just went his way - like in Homestead when he had a wheel fall off of the car and should have been laps down and instead it didnt even hurt him really.

Jack Roush made some comments about how illegitimate that championship was after Kurt Busch was gone from Roush.
