I may need to consider cutting back on the sauce during games, because I thought he wasn’t awful at all. In fact I expected much worse. He actually looks like he can play a little. Honestly, a guy like him needs reps and he is finally just now getting them.

Joseph with the penalties? Different story.

Joseph is a very good press man corner, what he was drafted for. He is not good playing back off the ball because he is aggressive and physical. We have all seen him perform admirably the past two years playing press man. With all the injuries, Quinn seems to be playing more zone. On the big TD last week, Joseph was back off the ball and he came up and bit hard on the first move. That doesn’t happen when he’s up pressing and playing his game.

If Quinn plays zone, he probably will live and die with Wright. I think he could play Bland outside and Joseph would do a very good job in the slot. If Quinn decides to play man, I think Joseph is the best choice.

Diggs is not at his best in zone either. We’ve seen him fooled on double moves recently as well.

Whats the alternative?

Try one of the Veterans CBs they picked up. Mullen or Alexander.

Welp he isn't ideal but he is less of a liability than Bossman who is now a liability on special teams as well. Bossman can't find his rear-end with both hands.

He either gets cut or traded after the season.

Unless he starts living at the star.

Our 2 and 3 guys are out for the year and our 4 is a rapper pretending he’s a football player. Wright is our 5 and was never meant to see meaningful time. I’d start signing any available cb off the street.

Where the hell are the two vets they signed?

Upgrade needed for sure but he is on the field because Joseph was even worse and it’s not like there are a lot of options going into week 17 on the free agent market. I suspect we see Alexander this week but I’m not sure he will be better.
