Nashon Wrong - he is a liability

Like I said, this same website 95 percent thought joseph played better in preseason. Don't take them seriously regarding cornerback play
I worry more about Wright being resilient and him holding back because he is not one of those densely built athletes. Case in point is there was one play where he kind of waited on the receiver before tackling him instead of intercepting the player once he caught the ball.

Maybe he will learn that playing it too safe on the field in certain instances can actually make you more susceptible to injury. NFL level play is brutal. Future stadiums should be built with a hospital wing, lol.

Sorry… even with the INT, the kid is a liability. We will need to find someone else to play CB.

Where the hell are the two vets they signed?

I agree. Anything would be better than Wright. He should have a target on his jersey instead of a number.

These last 2 games are a chance to see what some guys can ( or cannot) do under pressure. Some guys will be getting their pink slips in a couple weeks.

Maybe I was watching a different game. He had a few passes completed on him, the big one I thought was on the safety. Other than that he tackled well, made plays when they were presented, and most importantly didn't give up any touchdowns.

Now that you've seen other options, do you understand why Anthony Brown is actually a pretty good NFL corner?

To be fair, he is just now getting significant playing time. Diggs was getting run out of town when he was first put in there. Let's hope he is far better next season. Improves with practice and more on the field snaps.

The problem is, his athletic limitations (change of direction) are on full display and will be exposed over and over. Racy McWhatshisface was open versus Wright by about 5 yards. He'll be killed by better competition.

On the plus side, he's a good tackler, great ball skills, and a competitor. Our best hope is he makes plays to counter the ones he'll give up

Valid point. I am just scared to death of running that kid out there with a target on his back vs a playoff caliber QB

Tenn ate all night against him and didn’t need to look elsewhere. If Henry was playing, and the refs put some flags in their pockets, we could very easily be looking at a L

I know they were tired from 3 games in 12 days and injuries have taken their toll. I am grateful for the W. But CB is a real problem area. I’d prefer to see a vet out there, but maybe the two guys we signed suck worse lol

Peoples expectations are not reasonable. The cowboys # 2 and #3 corner are out for the year. A late draft round player is knocking the ball out of the park, and 2 other young corners are struggling. That is not that bad, and considering the injuries, it could be a lot worse.

Wright and Joseph have not played much. Until the draft or free agency, the hope is with playing time they will get better.

McClay to the rescue right? There HAS to be someone out there on someone else’s PS that can play right?! Lol

Or maybe one of these two vet CBs they signed? Why are they not getting any opportunities?
Maybe they're going to be sprung on offenses in the playoffs.
