Makes sense why this is going down. It's in everyone's interest to get this done.

The league and our wonderful commissioner should now be wanting Pacman to go away. The best way is to reinstate him and let him go to a team. The media will be all over it for awhile then it will calm down into the season. It will almost go away if there are no problems and he does well. That's best for the commis and the NFL.

Best for Pacman. And the Titans and lets JJ go on about the business of a draft. With him in fold before the draft there will be a little less talk.

I don't know what significant increase means but I hope its not more than a 4th this year and a conditional pick next year; hopefully none next year. But I wouldn't have a hissy fit up to a conditional 4th.

It isn't guaranteed past a certain point, his salaries are already guaranteed. He also has reached playing incentives that the titans still owe him.

And from what I gathered from Schefter's article. It was claiming that Jerry upped his offer in exchange for guarantees that pacman isn't suspended this year. If he is then the titans would have to send a pick back to the Cowboys next season. At least that was my impression from that article.

Yes. I also saw it on NFL Live. They didnt say it would but they believe it would be. NFL Live was saying that Wade was really pushing this to happen.

If Pacman is worth so much, maybe Tennessee should keep him? You don't pull stuff like this with a player you are trying to dump. Tennessee needs to wake up and realize that.

I totally agree with you, but I think they are waitingto see if Jones get reinstated to try an up the antie. If I was Jones I would not converstae with them again until the 6th round nd go ahead and look to draft a corner. If he comes then the secondary will be that much stronger.
