These former Cowboys' reserves (minus Ferguson of course) are really going to have significant roles on this Dolphin team. I liked their signing of Josh McCown, but I can't see that team winnng more than 4 games in that Division. Is that a good foundation for re-building?
I don't know, but we'll find out soon enough.

I think the problem they are going to have is Pasqualoni as the D-Coordinator. Apparently Parcells didn't learn the first time with Zimmer as the defensive coach and went with Pasqualoni, who knows the 3-4, but is probably more conservative than Zimmer was.

It's too bad because I do like Sparano and do wish him the best of luck.

The media down here will spin it as if the dolphins continue to weaken us. Parcells is already GOD down here, it's so hilarious. I wish we played them again this year. I hate the mullets so bad.

parcells is still a GOD to many here. and he did turn us around and gave us direction. he couldn't finish the job but we're a better team now because of him.

he can do the same in miami but not immediately. if our scrubs start for them, great. good for them. scrubs are easy to come by and parcells is only doing it because he knows them already.

i think every team has a nate jones and a keith davis - but he took ours cause he knew 'em. i view that as parcells weakness. he gets too familiar with someone and locks in vs. looks abroad.

i like miami. i wish 'em well.

I'm getting my chops busted by this friend of mine who is a huge fish fan seemingly every day. I finally just told him he needed to chill the hell out because those backups can be replaced.

all backups can be replaced. replacing starters is harder. so far he's not gotten a starter from us.

It does give me pause to remember 1989. And yes, back then, I'll admit I was glad to get Paul Palmer. But I was looking for just a single shred of hope that perhaps we could have some weapon on offense no matter how grim the overall picture was. I certainly NEVER considered busting anyone's chops over it.

That guy needs to recognize how desperate he is and learn to control it.

"Stuck with the pick" needs to be kept in perspective.

Miami may not be getting trade offers they prefer to staying put. But they are hardly "stuck with the pick." Its simply a matter of what you're willing to take in return.

If Miami really wanted to pick #2, 3, 4 or lower, and didn't care what they got in return, all they'd have to do is pass or let time expire when its their turn to pick.

Want to pick 5th rather than 1st? Wait 40 minutes (4 teams X 10 minutes each) and beat the next team to the podium. Problem solved.

Glymph seemed to show some ability to pass rush. He made some plays. What was the reason he fell off the radar.

No reason to be upset over the signings. Parcells is doing what most everyone does. They stay in the network they are part of. Glymph and Davis are good pickups for the Fins IMO. They are hard workers who will help Bill bring his system of how things work to Finland.
