How can Jerry help ESPN fold? Jerry Jones needs to put the word out to all personal associated with the Cowboys (employees) that ESPN is banned from training camp, the Star and AT&T stadium and no interviews shall be given to ESPN what-so-ever but unfortunately the broadcast agreement is signed for MNF.
Why would he do that?

ESPN is doing a good job going down the drain without Jerry's help. All they have to do is keep up what they're doing.

Awesome interview. Love the part he went on about communication. Communication bus the most vital weapon of mediation we have. You can't even the recognize the issue, let alone evaluate or resolve the issue without proper communication.

And that was the biggest problem with this whole Lucky situation. Lack of communication.

At some point, you have to be a man (or a mature person) and deal with issues the right way.

You'd be surprised at how people just don't like to deal with conflict, how people don't like to come clean with the wrong they do knowing they need to ask for forgiveness or make things right, etc.

And I have to admit, when I was young, I would avoid conflict too, never wanting to admit when I screwed up, just hoping people would forget it and let bygones be bygones. But what happens is you don't allow the slate to be cleaned (through confession) and people build their reputations of you as one who avoids responsibility (it takes a responsible person to admit they messed up), and too many incidents like that (not wanting to effectively communicate) and people are like, "I'm not putting up with this anymore."

He'd be doing them a favor. The media uproar over the new policy would dominate the press for weeks or even months. They'd have analyst after analyst talk about it, round-table discussions, 30 for 30 shows: just story after story ad nauseam. People that hate the Cowboys would tune in to bask in the criticism of the team and commiserate. The main beneficiary of that would be ESPN.

He's not going to do that, and ESPN wouldn't fold even if he did. It's a ridiculous proposition.
There are people saying ESPN is already circling the drain without Jerry doing that so what do you know that they don't know?

Maybe you are right, maybe it is best to let ESPN sign it's own death warrant and nail it's own nails in it's own coffin because they are doing such a good job of it already. Good point.
