guys nate newton former all pro offensive guard for the cowboys was just on www.ktbb.com the david smoak show, (the show is on channel 6 on cable from 4-7 pm or channel 18 on direct tv, will be lots of cowboys on davids show) you can listen to the podcast at the site, just click on dallas cowboys blog on his site,

anyway, nate says this guy david amondola is really doing nice things and running around beating corners etc, but our top cornerback jenkins cant seem to catch any balls.

BUST ALERT! BUST ALERT!

The guy has practiced for 2 days.........cut the kid some slack. If this is year 3 and he still sucks than its time to start worrying.

He will be fine. I heard he didn't look all that good during passing drills. I will wait and reserve judgement until the end of the year. Getting beat in passing drills that favor the offense in shorts and helmets don't really mean too much.....

Terrence Wheatley and Antoine Cason had 14.

And they both did that in big football conferences.

By the way, I'm a huge fan of Wheatley, damn Patriots. The rich get richer.

He's a cover corner anyway, his numbers from college don't lie, he's closer to Newman than Anthony Henry. I'm sure he'll improve in time, but I don't think he'll ever be a big time playmaker in that way.

What are the chances we once again, like idiots, try to hide a camp standout on the practice squad again with Amendola, like we did Matt Moore? I might pull my hair out.

i'll take pass deflections too

Pass deflections, 2 yrd pass plays, not getting beat...that's whats important. INTs are just icing.

Nate, go roll a fatty and shut up....

If memory serves me right, T-New dropped a lot of potential ints over the years.

Well, he was compared to Carlos Rogers on one draft site...

I knew we should have took Hardy , LOL

Seriously, he was the only WR I liked in the entire draft.
