@Ranching needs to thank my Ohio State Buckeyes for Mr. Herman.

I got to spend some time with him when he was OC at Texas State. Really nice guy! Reminds me of Mack Brown, only smarter! And that's no knock on Mack.

I didn't...I knew Clemson was good but I thought Bama's D would get too Lawrence....I'll be danged if it was the other way round.

College football is much more supported in So Cal

There wouldn’t be a half empty Rose Bowl or Coliseum

It is the strongest conference from top to bottom most years.........b/c most of the elite football talent in this country is in the southeast. Clemson built their team in Georgia, Florida, and Alabama. You have to recruit the Southeast well to have a shot. Urban Myer knew it too.

And more interest and history with college football. Even more so than the NFL.

USC was always a bigger ticket than the Rams or Raiders.

I thought Bama’s defense would get to Lawrence too but you have to give credit to him for making these throws. Hats off to him, the coaching staff, and the entire Clemson team. They play well and deserves this national title.

I'm not but I've watched enough college football to be able to tell the difference between a game that matters and one that does not. You should work on it. It'll come.

You have to recruit in the South. Florida and Texas are the two largest pools in the South.

Nobody. They'll have to wait for the playoff for competition. The only caveat would be if Trevor Lawrence gets injured.
