That's a pretty good correlation.
I tend tho think that you can throw any of the top dozen or recruiting classes into the same pile because there are plenty of variables.

Georgia, Florida St and Michigan seem to have underachieved if you believe thses services. Big if, I guess.

Alabama's titles have come in the last 5 years, when they seem to have the top class every year. So the last 10 years average doesn't really reflect their current run.

Also noticed that Mack Brown's teams have done about as you would hope given the recruiting--which goes against some of his detractors. 5th best average and 2 NC appearance with one win. Seems about right.

I'm amused at how bitter Les Miles is about Gunner Kiel jumping to Notre Dame.

Congrats to local athletes from my area. Jarron Jones to ND and Jamaal Pardner to Pitt. I hope to be signing my letter of intent next year.

Texas is just racking up the Blue Chip RB's at this point over the last two years...

Hopefully their OL prospects can block for these guys...

Obviously that would be great...and needed.

Interesting I just read this...

The Ohio State Buckeyes were expected to be in the lead for Davonte Neal, a four-star recruit, but National Signing Day came and the team decided to pass on him. Though the early reports don't indicate an exact reason why, it seems the Buckeyes might be saving a scholarship for someone down the road.

It seems, according to early rumors, that the team might be waiting to see what fellow wide receiver Stefon Diggs decides to do. Diggs, a top 15 recruit, is expected to wait until Feb. 10 to make his decision with a visit to the Maryland Terrapins still on tap.

It's unclear if that's the exact reason Neal won't be signing with the Buckeyes on Wednesday, but Rivals' Mike Farrell reported late Wednesday afternoon that Neal won't be in this year's recruiting class.

I don't have the reason why #OhioState won't be taking Davonte Neal, I just know he tried to commit and couldn't. Well sourced. #RivalsNSD

Something fishy with Neal. OSU just dropped him. OSU insiders are saying there is NO chance he ends up at OSU, regardless of Diggs. Urb must feel great about getting Stephon.

They already have 5 star ath Jalin Marshall committed for 2013, he will likely move to WR, and feel like they have a decent shot at probable #1 2013 WR Robert Foster.

Just read this...Really hope it's true.

Stefon Diggs Update: Ohio State Favored To Sign Him Despite Late Maryland Visit, According To Report

Feb 02 6:20p by Kevin McCauley

Wide receiver Stefon Diggs, a five-star recruit from Maryland, is visiting with the Maryland Terrapins. His high school teammate, Wes Brown, committed to the Terps on National Signing Day and it was previously thought that the two players could be a packaged deal. Instead, it looks like they could go their separate ways. The latest rumor has Urban Meyer and the Ohio State Buckeyes emerging as late favorites to capture the talented wideout's signature.

@DanHellie
Dan Hellie MT: Stefon Diggs visit to Maryland seems like a courtesy. I'm hearing he's leaning heavily towards Urban Meyer and Ohio State. #Terps #OSU

Texas has just received their first commitment of the 2013 Recruiting Class.

Jake Raulerson, OT/DE ranked 23 overall as of today in the Nation.

This is a big one. Raulerson is ranked #23 overall in the Class of 2013 by 24/7. Raulerson’s offer list is a sight to behold: Alabama, Florida, Michigan, Notre Dame, Miami, tOSU, Oklahoma, Stanford, and about twenty more schools had already offered.

Yep, plus he's a LT and probably a top 3 LT prospect, if not top LT prospect next year. Jake "The Mauler" Raulerson is huge for Texas.

That would be a shame. We need him more at OT then we do DE IMO.

well we got that juco guy so im sure he will start there next season and jakes freshmen season and he will be back up but jake is too good to keep off the field so i think that is why they would put him at DE his freshmen year. plus it helps to have knowledge of the other side of the ball as a OT

He is going to be a two-way player and will play TE on offense...

I assume you are talking about Hawkins? He's a Guard and will likely step in immediately to replace Snow on the OL. We actually missed on several of the OTs we were trying to recruit for this last season. Humphries, Theus, Peat, they all went elsewhere. We got Estelle but he might be a RT. He's a big one thou. 6'7" 300 lbs.
