Naysayers

I disagree. Individually, yeah, your right. But collectively our voice matters.

Jerry Jones feels heat from this. If he didn't he would still have Dave Campo coaching this team.

He spouts his crap about Garretts job being safe last week, the fans get upset, and he catches heat the rest of the week about that statement.

Also, regarding the mediocre talent, that is the NFL. 95% of the NFL is mediocre. Mediocre teams win Superbowls in this league so that is no excuse. Dallas has all the talent they need to accomplish winning the ultimate prize.

What they don't have is coaches that give them any type of advantage.

BTW, this is a message board so if you don't like it then maybe you should go find Hostile and his crew so you can just compliment everything this team does and act like everything is processing in the right direction.

Jerry Jones does not care one bit about what the fans think. One fan or thousands of them. If you think he does you are fooling youself.

You are delusional and beyond help if you truly believe that.
We have been mediocre for a VERY long time and we've had whining fans since Jerry fired Landry.
In the meantime Jerry has only gotten richer, won 3 Super Bowls which is one more than Dallas had before he bought the team, more dug in and more involved with running the team.

He could care less what fans think.
There a million other fans to go get and he knows how to go get them.
If Dallas stops selling out he'll have the team in Mexico City.

He just told us he plans to run the team til he dies and he is just getting good at this, lol.

I think Jerry is mostly crazy so I try to ignore him because I do;t hate him enough to change teams but have little doubt he changing anything substantial.
He tried Parcells here and that was pointless and largely inconsequential.

Cowboy fans are just made to suffer. Up until the last Cowboy drive, the team looked sloppy as usual. I still think it's going to come down to the last game with Philly and I'm afraid history will repeat itself. Nothing that I've seen so far has changed my mind on that.

If y'all aren't happy with this team's performance in light of everything that surfaced leading up to the game, it's time you jump on another bandwagon.

Did the offense look great? No, but they managed to put enough points up to win the game; which I thought is all that matters. In those conditions on the road, our boys showed up and virtually ended NY's season. Say what you want about "one bad team beat another".... Point is we're in first and over .500. How many teams that are fighting for a playoff spot 5-6?? Thx!

Defense was struggling in stopping the run. They also tightened up when it mattered in the red zone and on the 4th down attempt NY failed on. Getting Lee back for Chicago will be perfect timing..

My point is some of y'all are still living with the 90's success/expectations. This is a new generation of football and this is the state of the Cowboys. Could we be better? Yes. Could we be worse? Yes! If you don't like what you see, don't burden yourself on game days half heartily cheering for our team. Be 50/50 somewhere else!

Give the boys props for what they did and use the same assertion in doing so as you would when y'all come on here to bash every angle, aspect, player and coach after a loss.

Wasting your time around here. Wish it were not so, but you are.

"Being happy with the win" and "being happy with the performance" are two totally different things.

Not in the case of you and Khiladi. It is one and the same. You aren't really happy about either.

Dallas beat to death the Eagles in a play in game not long ago then whopped them again badly in the play offs.

The only team we have a playoff win against in forever.

So if history is to repeat itself thank goodness we get the Eagles.

And in other news..

Garrett still sucks and him and his crew still need to get canned this off-season...

And in additional news... no they don't, and they won't be canned. They will make the playoffs.

I'm happy with the win.

I think the Cowboys will make the playoffs which I'll be happy about but I am under no illusion that they won't get bounced right out.

If they don't get (much) better between now and then, you are probably right.
The silver lining is that as of now, they would play a home playoff game.

I'll enjoy the win over the Giants for now though.

Sorry but I will not accept mediocrity and sloppy football just because the Cowboys are my team.

I've seen time and time again where this road leads.

I'm happy we won but come on.. All these mistakes will eventually get us laughed off the field in an elimination game.

Yeah you will, and there isnt a darn thing you can do about it. You will accept it. You think coming here and beating your head against the wall.. or plugging your ears and screaming.. is not accepting it?

WRONG. You are accepting it, you just arent enjoying it.

I thought the defense played great and the offense played good. I thought Romo was outstanding, the receivers were solid, the running was good, not great. I thought for a while, the offensive coordinator was great at times and dumb at times giving up on the run. But overall, the team was prepared, the offense was a lot smoother than it usually is, and the defense was not put in the position to handle the entire game. It's obvious we're missing Sean Lee and consistent edge rushers. But other than that, I'm happy with the win, I gave Romo credit which I do when he does good, but now I have to stomach his fans drooling all over the place this week. The only negative. :D

That's funny. The team stepped up big yesterday. I'll credit the team for the win. I won't give all the credit to Romo just like I don't give him all the criticism after a loss.

is that the same Eagles team that smacked the cowboys 44-6 in a play in game for the wildcard spot in 2008, be careful what you wish for...
