No. It's for the ones who can't simply enjoy a win. This isn't for those who make their observations/criticisms of this team. They're not perfect and we can improve in many areas as a team as I've pointed out in previous posts outside of this thread.

My issue is with those who are to the point in which they just knock this team win or lose. If we lose, every angle is dissected on what we did wrong that contributed to the loss and when we win, it turns into a moral loss on here.

If people are bitter after a win, why not cheer for another team?

I know this is a public forum. Voicing an opinion is fine, my question is if people have an ALL hate relationship with this team, why not move on?

Why?? Why do you have to make a thread for people who don't want to enjoy wins?? You think you can change them? Look how foolish you sound

Cheer for another team? What are you gonna about it if they don't? Climb through the computer screen, and force them to be happy or leave? Cut it out, I'm sure you were raised better than this.

Am I happy with the win? Of course. But let's not get too excited. NYG is terrible, and a win over them isn't all that impressive. It lifts my spirits a little, but the bitter taste of the Detroit choke job and the New Orleans beatdown still linger. I'm well aware that this team is a long way from being a true NFC contender.

Oh, and feeling this way doesn't make me "not a fan." Grow up.

Frozen700,

Wow personal shots about how I was raised! You don't know anything about me and to imply how I was raised based on what I post on here must say a lot about you!

Embarrassed? Feel bad?? No! If you can't be happy with this team winning you should find another one to cheer for. That's the point I made.

My intent wasn't to change anyone's mind via thread, it was to remind them they're plenty of teams in the NFL they can cheer for.

Foolish? You've responded how many times in here?? What does that make you ? I think you're my number one customer today... Hmmm.... Thanks for stopping by. Run along, I'm through with you!!

To everyone else who has supported this thread, thanks!! It's good to know I'm not on an island when it comes to this.

Uh oh, I struck another nerve!! I'm sure those losses will linger in August when everyone has moved on.

Look, I'm happy they won dude. All of us are. But I've been a die-hard fan long enough to know that getting too optimistic about the Cowboys always ends poorly for my sanity and emotional well-being.

So you go ahead and be optimistic and rah rah Cowboys. Others (myself included) will continue to cheer, but remain guarded about our chances.

But to question our fanhood is ridiculous.

If y'all aren't happy with this team's performance in light of everything that surfaced leading up to the game, it's time you jump on another bandwagon.

Did the offense look great? No, but they managed to put enough points up to win the game; which I thought is all that matters. In those conditions on the road, our boys showed up and virtually ended NY's season. Say what you want about "one bad team beat another".... Point is we're in first and over .500. How many teams that are fighting for a playoff spot 5-6?? Thx!

Defense was struggling in stopping the run. They also tightened up when it mattered in the red zone and on the 4th down attempt NY failed on. Getting Lee back for Chicago will be perfect timing..

My point is some of y'all are still living with the 90's success/expectations. This is a new generation of football and this is the state of the Cowboys. Could we be better? Yes. Could we be worse? Yes! If you don't like what you see, don't burden yourself on game days half heartily cheering for our team. Be 50/50 somewhere else!

Give the boys props for what they did and use the same assertion in doing so as you would when y'all come on here to bash every angle, aspect, player and coach after a loss.

Just asking what you mean when you say "another bandwagon?"

Anyone currently who claims to be a fan of the Cowboys, isn't on a bandwagon...

First off, I've stated several times the personnel that I'm talking about. Those who aren't happy with this team winning and those who root for us to lose so we can get rid of our coaches and get a higher draft pick.

In no way am I in rah rah mode, or over confident due to yesterday's game. We have too much football left.

You are 100% completely powerless to change anything regarding the performance of the Dallas Cowboys.

That's the hilarity of the whining, sniveling, entitled fans here. Your "standard" is totally and completely meaningless.

No one owes you wins, much less Super Bowls.

You pick and chooser your team and you will get what you get.

This is a mediocre football team. If you can't enjoy that good luck finding a non-mediocre football team.

The only people who care at all is other fans who get tired of hearing this non-stop crying.
The team is over .500 and in first place. It hasn't lost a division game all year.
The talent on the field is barely mediocre right now.
If you want to change the outcomes of games go repair Brian Waters injury.
If you can not do that then shut up and enjoy the friggin wins.

And you are 100% completely powerless of changing the opinions of this team's fans by your hilarity at attempting to sound rational when all you are doing is having a fit over someone not agreeing with you.

Nice try, but high and outside.

I also love the "enjoy the friggin win" comment. It is usually the exact opposite of the "you don't know the future" comments when the team loses and people discuss the possibilities of the future.

You cannot make people think the way you think because you toss out a tantrum.

They sure invest their time in here like they are.

Usually if you are gonna jump on a ship, it's onto one that isn't sinking. Honestly, we need to be getting some young fans that are willing to overlook how bad we've been on board....I'd be willing to say there isn't anyone here who isn't a real fan and not a "bandwagon" guy...

Agree to disagree.
