I don't think Rudy is over rated. I think he's basically checked out from Portland because he hated it. I'm hoping the fact he's on a team, a successful one at that, will bring him back to his rookie form.
If it doesn't oh well. We'll have a nice expiring contract to dangle to teams around the all-star break.

Rudy shoots below 40% for his career. I dont think he will be impactful and might even ride the bench

I'd also be shocked if the roster that you list is what we start the season with, but I do think Rudy is replacing Peja and/or Deshawn.
I liked the Texas guy, but we picked him for someone else anyway. It sounds like they had a deal in place to get Rudy if the things fell right.

As for Peja, they pulled the plug on him completely once he proved to not be effective--at least in that series. Cardinal got some of those minutes and they also played three guards more to make up for it.
