Only if the Spurs take care of homecourt and I just don't think they are deep enough to prevent Dallas from splitting in San Antonio.

Game 2 predictions

Spurs will own the paint again, yet Mavs will have a 20+ FT shooting edge.

**** will take 3 or less shots within the paint, yet lead all players in FT attempts.

The Spurs will have around 15 turnovers.

Turtlehead will go off from 3pt land and do his stupid airplane dance

Wife Beater will make all his 3s

JJ Burrito will be a pest, but probably wont do much offensively.


Duncan, Manu, and Parker will score over 60 of the Spurs points.

Mason, Jefferson, and Hill will probably be nonfactors again.

Bonner will play one good half scoring in double figures, but be nonexistent the other half.

Blair will get double figure boards, if he can stay out of foul trouble.

McDyess will have a double, double.

Even when the Spurs get to the FT line, they will miss at least 1/3 of their FTs

They're really calling a tight game. It's kinda disappointing to see the Mavs struggling like they are, but it's still early.

Unfortunately spoke too soon..... this game is turning out to be an exact opposite of game 1 -.-

The Spurs had all the momentum in the first 5 minutes but let the Mavs hang around....they missed 5 FTs, a few layups, and rushed a few outside shots.....that allowed the Mavs to get back into the game.

The Spurs are up by 12, but this game is far from over. The Mavs can get hot in a heartbeat and I expect a strong scoring run from them sometime in the 2nd half.

BTW, the last game between the two in SA, the Spurs took a 10 pt lead to the 4th quarter, only to get blown out of the AT&T Center that night.

I will be content when the Spurs have the lead with 0:00 left on the clock in the 4th Quarter. until then, i will be biting my nails.
