i am very dissapointed in the way the hornets have played in these playoffs. i thought they could compete with the nuggs when the series started, but it looks like its coming to a premature end

Yeah. I think Scott rode West and Paul as far as they can go. Chandler is not healthy and they can't play 2 on 5 and expect to beat a quality team.

That still does not excuse them losing by 58 at home.

This Celtics-Bulls series is a classic. Another OT game.

ya, i thought the bulls would be done after game 3, but they have showed a lot of resiliency. nothing would surprise me in that series now, ill be very interested to see what happens as its starting to come to a close

Yeah, I hinted as much in the other thread. Paul/West may be worse because they were playing 40 minutes a game all year. The Spurs had to lean just as much on Parker and Duncan, and then tossed Bowen into the starting lineup for the first time since the late part of 2008 and 30 minutes a game (which he hadn't played as much all year).

I could see Boston finishing it out in game six, but like you said, nothing would surprise me at this point.

btw i really hope dwight howard gets suspended at least one game but preferably 2 for that elbow he threw at dalembert, that was completely uncalled for, specially for someone who claims to be a very christian role model for young kids

That was pretty blatant. I wouldn't be surprised to see a one game suspension.

Also, that Rondo foul on Brad Miller should've been a flagrant. That wasn't a play on the ball he just went headhunting. I expect to see tons of calls going Chicago's way on Thursday.

i agree, it should have been a flagrant 1. as for the bold part, i think that was gonna happen anyway. Afterall, this is the nba, the comish will want a game 7 out of this series.

True.

Here are a couple more reasons to root for the Bulls tonight.

One guy is hurt and decides to talk trash from the sidelines, the other is hurt and is still laying it all out on the court. Who is being the punk here?

Garnett screaming at the Bulls bench after Miller's missed free throw. Why is a T not called on him?

It's crazy how Garnett has gone from being one of my more liked players in the league to being a complete ******. From his cutesy press conferences, to his on the court attitude and now this. I guess that coupled with him being a Celtic is why.

Check out Garnett in action in this fight. Throw the basketball at McDyess and then back pedal away. Nice.

now that the spurs are pretty much done ill objectively predict the rest of the playoffs.

West 1st round
nuggs will win in 6
lakers in 5
rockets in 6

East 1st Round
Cavs in 4 (going out on a limb here)
celtics in 5
heat in 6
magic in 7

west semis
lakers in 6
nuggs in 5

east semis
cavs in 5
magic in 7

west finals
lakers in 6
cavs in 5

finals
whomever wins 4 games first!! (going out on a limb here also)

(ps if the spurs somehow come back to win the series, they'll get swept in the second round)

really?
I don't think so....maybe 7 if they win at all.
Mavs played them hurt all year and the games were mostly very close...so I think that 4-0 record is very deceiving.

the whole celtics team is a bunch of punks. they remind me of the NY Giants. Rondo had no shot at that ball so he hit Miller in the face. Rondo shouldn't be allowed to play tonight.

I'm still absolutely flabbergasted he wasn't suspended, I mean, wow.

I'll be rooting for the Rockets tonight. Hopefully they can close this one out at home and finally get out of the first round. I don't think anyone on that team wants to fall to 3-3 in the series after the 3-1 lead, and then go back to Portland.

Celtics-Bulls in yet ANOTHER overtime game. This one just entered it's second OT, which makes it, what, six overtimes total in six games? Crazy.

TRIPLE OVERTIME!

Good grief. I was about to go study with a few minutes left in regulation. Now I can't leave... should've just gone.
