NBC booth crew discussing Bledsoe/Romo QB "controversy"

Peter King reporting on how he "feels" Romo is going to be the starter in Dallas

In other words, he doesn't know jack about it. Why even say it if it's just your opinion? These "reporters" nowadays should have their title changed to "storytellers."

Some people will believe anything if they hear it from the media.

Just his opinion...He said that Dallas likes Romo b/c of his accuracy, mobility, and leadership. Talked about Bledsoe being a statue and that is not good b/c of our shaky o-line. It was only his opinion!!!!!!!!

:welcome: enjoy.

It was just his opinion but Peter King definitly hangs out at training camps more than the other national reporters. Remember that big talk he had with Parcells? How many guys does Parcells take time to do that with? No one may have told him, but he isn't exactly coming out of leftfield. He talks with Parcells often, and visits Cowboys training camp, so he's going with his feeling based on those visits compared to past trips.

Just a note to add here... He was also the one to report Dallas were going to sign Owens about 5 days in advance.

Also wanted to add that I think the Ray Lucas situation still haunts Bill. He has talked about it before. He went with the safe choice, and lost a Playoff bid when he would have gone further if he had picked the no name guy earlier. I've heard him talk at press conferences before how he regrets not changing QBs earlier and going with his gut.

And?

The writing was on the wall months before that.

PK is on the sidelines like Wolf Blitzer back in Deset Storm acting as though he has some breaking news only to report that he has no inside information and he speculates Romo is on for DB.

NBC & Peter King need to be embarrassed.... (Even if it turns out to be true...)

Wow. After one preseason game, King is about as overzealous as some fans.
I never would have thought such a perception could occur. :lmao2:

My point is that he reports and breaks news before it happens. Hes not like these clowns on ESPN that report anything that makes a good headline.

I love the media. No, no kidding, I love them.

You know these guys are so happy to have stuff to try and stir up in Dallas that they are having accidents in their pants looking for stuff to write about.

TO vs. Tuna.

Romo unseating Bledsoe.

Hell, they nearly had orgasms when Davis got shot again.

I love the media. Even funnier are the sheep who buy every word they say.

King is not anywhere near the inside guy he used to be and while I doubt his report will come to be true this yr, Peter King IS one of the guys that Parcells goes back a LONG ways with and the two are supposedly still close

David

He's also speculating that Romo would do better behind our "shaky" offensive line ..... you know, the one that didn't give up any sacks last week in only the first pre-season game.

apparently you didnt watch the game then, because the OL was shaky

the run blocking was terrible (again) and Romo avoided several sacks with his legs

I expect Jerry Jones love the media as much as you do. Anything to keep the nation's eyes on the Cowboys . . .

Yeah, with Bledsoe at QB, at least a couple of those would have been sacks.

Not to fan the flames of controversy, or anything.

King swore Hutchinson was going to be the next great thing....

He knows nothing and has no inside access in Dallas.

Local media like Galloway started this crap almost as a joke and as usual the national mediots are merely a day late and a dollar short.

Even Costas is getting in on the stupidity. TO made 4 practices last week not 1 or 2. It is pretty easy to comprehend that the guy isnt 100% and he isn't gonna play against the Saints and likely wont practice any more 2 a days this season.
