NBC completely dismisses the Cowboys

"Until Tony Romo can show me that he can recover from a bad game, I can not say that the Cowboys are the best in the NFC"

Did Jerome not watch the Giants game last week? Oh wait. His former QB was Roethlisburger. A 2 Int, 0 TD game is considered a good game.

Collinsworth flat out rejects the notion that the Boyz are the best team in the NFC; he says the Bears are, they'll make the switch to Griese, and roll on the the Super Bowl.

Sharpe said the Saints are the best; they're the most balanced !

Bettis says the Boys are the hottest, but he's waiting until Romo has a bad game and wants to see how he'll react;

Memo to Bettis: Romo already had his "bad game"

There's no doubt that the Boys are back, cuz they're getting no respect from the national mediots.

Yeah I could care less who thinks we're the best. If we go out and win our games, that will speak for itself. I dont think anyone can argue if a Super Bowl champion is the best or not.

Balanced at what? They're No. 1 in passing yards by a LOT, and they're 21st in rushing yards -- 26th in yards per carry. They have 20 TD passes and 13 TD runs.

Our offense is fifth in passing yards, eighth in rushing yards and 13th in yards per rush. We have 20 TD passes and 17 rushing TDs.

We're also better on defense -- fewer yards, fewer points and more turnovers.

A better defense and a more-balanced offense is a more-balanced team.

Who cares about these clowns. All of these networks were anticipating a cowboy trainwreck this season with owens on board. It's funny they diss us, but are falling all over themselves to get our games.

Very well put. It's amazing how it kills some of these mediots to even admit that Dallas is in contention. Mike Wilbon of PTI is another one who can't even give the Cowboys credit for being 8-4. It makes me that much hungrier for a win tonight. Come on Cowboys, make them all eat crow.

the NBC so called "experts" SUCK!!!!!!! the only reason i like SNF is because of Michaels and Madden the best broadcasting team in sports but ive always hated Collinscrap, they have the wrong Sharpe, Bettis brings nothing to the table except look stupid, and Costas knows nothing about football. Seriously they couldnt have gotten a worst of group of analysts if they tried

to be honest they talked about the cowboys more realistically then anyone has dared to. They are playing well. They are extremely "hot" but who (not in dallas) is going to call this team a shoe in for a deep playoff run.
I predict dallas to go to the nfc championship game vs. the saints personally..but honestly either of those 2 teams could realistically lose to nearly any of the teams in contention.

The problem I have is that they're so quick to dismiss Dallas. For example, I haven't heard them saying that the Saints aren't all that. i could be wrong but i figured the reason they didnt point out the saints weaknesses is becuase they are not the team favored to win. To pick the saints to win required justification. picking dallas for this game is a given. just check out the picks on every network
