Good. Hardy will love this matchup.

actually I think the rest of Dallas line will like it more because Eagles will have to move pieces around. This is starting to have a look like break-out game for Dallas defensive turnovers.

Of course the Seahawks didn't when you got Wilson getting rid of the ball on quick 3 step drops then no matter who the dline is there won't be many opportunities for sacks and we can bet the Eagles are going to have Bradford doing the same thing but the difference is he's not the dual threat that Wilson is so there may be some chances for sacks we'll see.

Yah... that's the frustrating thing though. We control the LOS and force teams to take 3 step drops-- and then we don't sit on the short routes and the flats in the secondary. We're so scared of getting beat deep, that we refuse to play aggressive in our coverages. Really frustrating seeing teams nickel and dime us in the short passing game.

It's like we just don't how to adjust to the strategy. MAKE teams throw deep to beat you-- take away the short routes-- and THEN you will see loads of sacks from this DL. It's not rocket science...

The Eagles announced that starting left tackle Jason Peters will not play Sunday night in Dallas.

Peters has a back injury. The Eagles had listed him as questionable before deciding Saturday that he wouldn’t be healthy enough to play.

A seven-time Pro Bowler and two-time All Pro, Peters had played every game since 2013.

Peters last practiced on Tuesday. Lane Johnson practiced at left tackle in his spot and is presumably going to start there Sunday night, which means Dennis Kelly probably takes over at right tackle. Kelly has not started a game since 2012.

Johnson has never started at left tackle in the NFL. His primary matchup in that spot would be Greg Hardy.

Let me go ahead & pay my respects now.

R.I.P. Lane Johnson.

Yeah, the tackle spot was their strength and I see alot of 4 man pressures coming Bradford's way.

I know. Dating back, anytime the upcoming opponent OL is struggling, we seem to not cash in. The point about not sitting on short routes on the quick throws does make sense. Maybe now with #31 playing centerfield, sitting on short routes is no longer as much of a gamble, and makes the difference.

Our DLine SHOULD completely dominate the Egals OLine....but it won't. Our D should exploit the deficiency....but it won't. It seems this team does not take advantage of some of the holes and weaknesses of the opposing teams as much as the other teams do on us. However, I am more than willing to eat crow.

its a coaching issue that has been ongoing for a long time even with Wade.

Byron Jones (#31) played the slot CB position last week. He played some deep Safety when the offense only had 2 WRs, but also played at the line to cover TEs when there was not slot WR.

Something tells me this will not matter.

That could be the case if we do not recognize the weakness.

If they slide protection to help Johnson versus Hardy, Dallas has to make them pay for not giving the help to a very average OL in Dennis Kelly, making his first start. Or vice versa.

For some odd reason though, we rarely seem to acknowledge opposing weaknesses and attack them strategically.

Yep that is very frustrating that teams do that for example Wilson, and Graham was killing us last week with that short slant across the middle all game and the short intermediate passing game is the Eagles bread and butter and rest assured they will be doing just that for the entire game until Dallas can stop this then we'll continue to see this from our opponents.
