This is another really inconvenient fact of life for us.

Zeke is going to do this stuff until he is suspended the max time.

I think there is something wrong with him mentally.

It's one thing to make mistakes because you are young..

but this is has been going on since college.

he runs with the wrong people..

he does not learn from his mistakes.

He likes to be the center of attention always.

I can not see how the Cowboys make him the highest paid player at his position.

Of course people will rip Florio here as being anti-Zeke, but if I recall, Florio was pretty pro-Elliott and critical of how the NFL league office handled the DV case.

Or at least, that's my recollection. I could be wrong on that.

People thought this would die down in a day, but it hasn't. The more it gets talked about in the media, the more chance it has to end in suspension.
Anyone who believes the event will not be evaluated by the commissioner has been paying zero attention to Goodell's disciplinary reviews and/or decisions the past 14 years.

I think you are right.

Florio has been pro Zeke before.

We drafted 2 RB in this draft, the Cowboys typically don't take 2 RBs in a draft class,, one of the historians on this site might know the last time they did.
So sometimes the best answer to a question is what the team does.. @ OP.

It has who really watches this show? You’re in Cowboys bubble so you think this is more important than it is. On the bigger sports shows and networks this isn’t a thing anymore. It could be that I don’t watch nfl shows during the off-season since they don’t have nothing to really talk about. I’ll will put in that disclaimer but when I think of big stories I think of stories that come up on all the General sports shows all day long. I don’t really see it being discussed on those shows.

like Goodell's gonna pass on the chance to sign off on a suspension of any Dallas Cowboys player

maybe Goodell will only drop 2 games on Zeke that he'll appeal and get it reduced to 1 or even cut entirely.

Bruh if zeke gets suspended and pollard takes off.... bye zeke. I’m sick of zeke and his drama. If somehow Pollard surprises all of us IF zeke is suspended let’s say 6 games. I’d trade zeke in the offseason

Honestly I wouldn't even be considering an extension until after this plays out,, then I would consider my options.

You must not be a Cowboys Fan, if you were, you would realize that even Jay Walking is a capital offense in Big D.

So on what grounds would Zeke merit a suspension? Does the policy spell out domestic abuse as a reason for a suspension - which is why Zeke got suspended two seasons ago. Or is there a general code of conduct clause that is open to interpretation?

Two strikes on DV and the league can suspend for life.

The guy in the bubble is you, practicing willful ignorance because you don't like the subject. It is, has been, and continues to be the subject of conversation on numerous shows on numerous outlets. But attack the messengers because you don't like the message. Maybe instead place the blame on Elliott for misbehaving, where it belongs?
