Romo held for Folk during the special teams portion of Thursday's practice in Arlington.

Because he's bad at it, or because holders are constantly getting hurt?

Because he's your franchise QB?

What's new? You think everything the Cowboys do is stupid.

Na just the stupid things they do are stupid.

Holding puts him at almost no extra risk, nor does it take away from his main responsibilities at QB. The only downside is if Romo gets hurt at some point, then we have to find a new holder. Let the best person for the job do the job. Don't the Steelers run James Harrison on special teams, even though he's had 26 sacks in the past 27 games?

So you're going to tell me that a defensive player playing ST is the same as your franchise QB holding. I see that makes sense. So if Folk misses on sunday will it be Romo's fault or Folk's. It's rather asinine if you ask me. How much time does the cowboys devote to special team practice? Do the cowboys run ST practice and regular practice at the same time or is it done in shiftS? If romo can hold some snaps he needs to be tossing some balls to RW and Austin. It just seems like a ploy and a stunt to me much like most of the cowboys moves. Nothing to improve the team just going in circles resting on that 13-3 season.

It's December, playoffs are at stake. EVERYONE needs to improve their game, from the players to the coaches to the waterboys.

If Romo holding can help Cowboys into playoffs, why all the nut twisting and caterwauling? No player needs to be "saved" if they can't get into the playoffs first.

When the defensive player is the reigning Defensive NFL MVP and he's sprinting downfield to engage in contact, I'd say it's pretty equivalent to your franchise QB holding a ball and not getting hit. I'm pretty sure that the kickers kick off of those nifty upright holding tees during while the offense practices and then they run actual special teams practice separately, so it doesn't interfere with Romo's throwing at all.

I think you are missing the point completely! It is not about finding fault, it is about improving the kicking game.

Do you seriously believe that Folk will NEVER miss a kick again? Or are you just setting up another "I told you so" situation?

It's no where never equal.

Why wouldn't having buehler kick FG improve the kicking game will he be that much worse than what folk has been? Want to improve the kicking game change the kicker Lol .

because it's unrealistic to think that a kicker who has not practiced kicking is going to be better
