NBC's first telecast

I can't stand Dan Dierdork, the guy just rubs me wrong.

Every time Costas would think, I thought we were about to hear an Olympic update or a sappy Olympic biography. Collingsworth at least has opinions--they may be stupid, but he doesn't just repeat what everyone else says.

I get tired of Al quickly. I just want to hear about the game--analysis of the play, etc.

I just have to get used to it. I'm old school and like things they way they were when I was younger, (the early 70's), and the NFL was not as commercialized as it is today.

As for the telecast last night, I thought Madden was a little testy with Collinsworth a few times, which was enjoyable.

As Collinsworth kept slamming T.O. and talking about how bad T.O. treated Garcia and McNabb, Madden interrupted him and said, "They were better QBs with T.O. than they are without him."

All Collinsworth could meekly say in response was something like, "I agree." :)
