I'm not real familiar with college football, but can someone why they say this is Texas first playoff appearance? Was the Rose bowl they won in 2006 not considered a playoff game?

Those were just bowl games, were no playoffs.

Back then, there wasn't a playoff system like they have today.

Not that it means everything, but Mel Kiper has Bo Nix as the 6th rated QB. It’d that dude is seriously 6th (I think higher) this class should be really good.

It amazes me how dumb coaches are at every level of football. You had the game over with...kneel down 3 times and punt and Texas only has 15 seconds left to go 80+ yards. Washington deserves to lose this now with how dumb they are handling this

DeBoer is probably the coach of the year but he bungled clock management there badly

And even if they manage to hang on, looks like they're down a running back next week
